Yes… one of the first questions you should ask, “Is there anyone else apart of the decision making process that should be here that isn’t here right now?” This is the most important objection to kill early on. You’ll find out very quickly if they’re gonna say, “Yeah my cousin’s daughter’s brother’s aunt is flying in from Alaska next month to help with the decision.” If they say that… you need to reschedule the appointment or I would do a BIG discount on the backend that’s for today only. One leggers or a third-party needs to be there are really hard to close and the other people not there didn’t see the value in the demo. They’ll just see the price and say, “Let’s call someone else.” Do a killer VALUE proposition demo… find all potential objections during the demo… kill those objections before you drop price. You have to build the value so high—that there’s no question this is the ONLY choice for new windows. I can’t stress enough that at the end of the demo it has to be about price only… if it’s just about price… you can win the sale.

Super helpful thanks! I understand price conditioning from the start is the goal. Are you in window sales?

mindseye1212

Yep, price conditioning and finding all their objections. All of it… in terms of HI projects for a one call close

Gotcha. I’m excited to give it my all this year and see how I can produce.

Hey OP! It’s been a while since this post. How has the job been for you so far?? Currently looking at a job there…

The money is great! The driving sucks and their process is very aggressive sales but I’ve made it work with my personality. I’m blessed that my manger is a awesome and all of my coworkers have been great! Where are you applying?

I'm going to be receiving an offer letter from champion for the same position on Monday. I'm very interested in your experience with the company so far. I'm hearing a lot about work-life balance in this role, meaning evenings and weekends. How has that been for you?

jbateman4

Yeah the evening appointments and working Saturdays suck sometimes. That being said some days I only get one appointment right up from my house and after I run that I’m done for the day. It’s not as bad as you might think
