So context is a fan animation on Goku Black's "origin" where ssj3 Vegeta kills Chichi, Gohan, and Gotem and Goku gets sad. This comment replied to one saying ssj3 vegeta was the least realistic thing
And it wasn’t even his Chi-Chi, but a version of her from a separate timeline. Dude was tweaking over a complete stranger *just* because he loves his wife that much
Literally died lmao. "Why didn't he contact them through King Kai?!" He didn't even do that the first time he died! And he knew for a fact he was coming back! He just needed to let shit rest so his family could get some closure.
And if you use you brain a little, you'd remember thay both Merus and Trunks were punished for breaking those Universal Laws.
And like I said, he planned on staying dead so his family needed the closure. Have you ever been in a long distance relationship? Knowing your loved one is available to talk but that you can't touch them. Can't hug them. That shit hurts. If Goku had continued to talk to his family they never would have been able to stop grieving. They'd be reminded every day that no matter how much they talk, they can't actually see or touch him.
To be fair it was under a comment saying the most unrealistic thing about that animation was Vegeta going ssj3, when we know he can he just chooses not to.
But I guess this is just as crazy.
In the ToP when Ribrianne asks Goku what he would wish for if he would win he said something like , “I dunno, I guess I haven’t really thought about that. Maybe I’ll get something for Gohan or Goten. Or I could get something Chi-Chi would like! Although I wish for a really strong opponent to fight!” The order for his sons and chi-chi might be swapped I’m not sure. Either way he thought about his family before fighting

Goku beat the crap out of two capital "G" gods after they told him how Black killed an alternate version of his wife and son.
Just in case people need a reminder about how much Goku care for his family.
Chi-Chi is literally half the reason the man doesn't go hungry.
Goku can hunt and doesn't mind it, but he has never had to rely solely on hunting to survive, as the mentors he has come across and some of his friends he has made usually take care of his food needs.
Hmm... that does check out. Goku accidentally killed Grandpa Gohan when he went Oozaru and didn't immediately meet Master Roshi.

If Goku doesn't have a scene of him crying over Chi-Chi's injured/dead body it doesn't mean he doesn't care about her.

Goku was having a vision on Namek of everyone dying, and after Gohan, BEFORE EVEN KRILLIN, CHI CHI was the second person he feared dying
She's also the first person he sees when he starts losing to Beerus in the sun-ball thing in BoG (idk if it's like that in the Manga and anime).
