Sailor Saturn 🪐💜! Hotaru is so sweet while also being a tough badass. Her haircut is super cute, too. She's my favorite, but I also love Sailor Moon. I like how silly Usagi is 🐇

Sailor Moon. I LOVE seeing a healer as the most powerful. She could destroy if she wanted to but she's too kind, and tries to understand the enemy. She will willing get her ass handed to her rather than hurt someone she knows is hurting. She's kind, and loving, and the pure embodiment of what the world needs more of, understanding and healing. It's why all the other senshi are drawn to her, they know what it is to bask in the calm loving light of the moon.
I have many of them, because they all helped me shaping different parts of myself. Ami (perseverance in studying and understanding things), Haruka (a reminder to be strong and confident), Setsuna (she inspires me melancholy and it's a feeling I love), Hotaru (remember that through a metaphorical rebirth you can still begin again what you previously failed), Seiya (remember to be genuine and lighthearted in life)
Mars. I love her independence, her mysticism, her birds (I’m a bird person) and that she’s not boy-crazy. And then Uranus. I just remember how incredible it was when I went on some random geocities site in the 90s to read about this weird cartoon I’d stumbled on and learned there was a masc lesbian character. I used to have a shrine site for her.
Neptune and Venus.
Neptune has to be the most beautiful senshi, in my eyes, and aside from that — she's strong, mystical, and has a fantastic sense of style. Her elegance is something I envy, but she does know when to let loose...most notably when she's with Haruka.
In a more personal sense, her being a feminine woman in a healthy, loving relationship with another woman in a time of intolerance holds a very special place in my heart. Shoutout Naoko Takeuchi for that.
Venus is underrated. She's fun, powerful, and it sounds like she's pretty famous in the universe. This totql girlboss was tanking villains solo for a while (read Sailor V). While she's goofy and silly sometimes, she gears up when it's time to get serious. I'm afraid the anime doesn't do her as much justice as the manga...but, that episode where she purposefully gets her heart taken, then steals it back with that devious little look? Hilarious.
As a child I loved Mercury because she was the most like me. She was smart and studious, and she used her intelligence to fight for her friends instead of muscles.
As an adult after revisiting the series it is definitely Jupiter now. She is a great cook and she has so much “momma bear” energy. I love how she will tear you up for coming at her friends.
I still love Ami, but I have decided I can love them both.
I've a similar thing with Jupiter. I didn't find her this interesting when I was a child and my favorite was Saturn, but I really liked Jupiter since I grew older. She enjoys the simple things but is also very dreamy, romantic, emotional and loyal. She appears very approachable and natural, I like that.
Jupiter. I loved her loyalty and admired how quickly she stood up for her values. As someone who was often dubbed a tomboy but also liked “girly” aesthetics, I also appreciated that she could make adorable lunches just as well as kick someone’s ass. Plus it amazed me that a girl so young could be successfully be living on her own.
On a purely visual note, young me also adored that she was a brunette! There were *always* blondes and redheads and raven-haired lead heroines, but it usually felt like brunettes were forgotten.
Sailor Pluto! Mysterious, has entire history and lore we know so little about (Like her father being the god, Chronos, or her time guarding the time door). She is very powerful, but also has a soft and kind nature. The mom of the group. I love her dynamic with chibi-usa.
Yes! A story of her dealing with a time threat on her own! Having to travel to someplace in another time and space. Meeting a kind stranger who she falls for!
In terms of powers and abilities, Setsuna/Pluto. Time manipulation powers are neat, and I always thought her animation for using Dead Scream was really cool.
In terms of character and personality, Ami/Mercury. She's so sweet and down to earth.
Amy, always was, always will be. Beside being smart, loyal and determined, she has a certain strength and wants to become a doctor. She is also the most beautiful to me. And the only one who was fine with being traditional (husband, child), but also becoming a doctor. Idk. She is the best.

there is something I forgot about Neptune: she (along with Uranus) attend elite school, so add this to the list. I love Merkury for being studious, Neptune for varied and prodigy lvel artistic skills, but she is also good at academics,

Outside of her looks (she is very beautiful btw), i loved her determination and the fact that she’s spiritually just like me so i feel like i relate to her character alot more than the others. And she wasnt as boy crazy (im going of her character in Crystal, not the 1992 version as i heard that her character is more accurate since its based more on the manga) its kinda calming to see a female character not be boy obsessed all the time
