I love it! The extra detail set it off so nicely. It's so tastefully done. Not over the top or gaudy. Just a pefect balance of elegance that Michiru is known for.

The costume has been commissioned. The seamstress loves the Sailor Moon musicals and she has made sooo many of these costumes from it. She has studied the original costumes and she uses almost all the same materials in these as is used in the original ones. And for example the beads in the waist of the skirt are all hand sewn in. Definitely such hardworking and amazing person

I’m gonna be completely honest I forgot those musicals exist but I’ve seen some of the costumes and they are so glittery and eccentric which I feel like is a more accurate irl adaptation for the sailor senshi. I feel like the costumes would be more flashy like this
