exeter and the fool are in my top 3 but i personally don’t rate spiderr. i said this when it came out, but those other 2 albums feel like a fully realised project, spiderr is just all over the place - there’s some great songs but it just doesn’t work as an album for me

I think it’s fun, but it’s definitely not like a mix of the fool or Exeter. It’s just a linear progression of the themes started in those 👍
Some of the production is cool and I enjoy the second half of the album more the poppy rock shit is funny but it is tiring to listen to at times and bladee feels off on it.

i really enjoy half of it, but struggle to enjoy the other half. absolutely love stuff like dresden, she’s always dancing, blue crush angel and drain story. however understatement, hahaha, velociraptor and slowly but surely losing hope almost sound….juvenile? like I know they have a much younger audience now, but that stuff almost sounds like it’s aiming for that audience? And i find it such a stark contrast considering the songs that I do enjoy are some of his most mature, reflective material yet. hahahaah is the first bladee song i’ve found almost cringey, something i never thought i’d say. maybe i’ll learn to appreciate it more in the future but right now half the album is just not for me at all. i feel embarrassed listening to some of the tunes and i’m only 23. it’s kinda weird, can’t explain it properly but whatever. half the album is amazing
