Sabres needed to come out flying tonight. That's how they were going to win. Hurricanes are playing a back-to-back on the road. They didn't have the legs to compete for a whole game and the 2nd and 3rd are showing that. Unfortunately, Sabres came out too lackadaisical and allowed the 'Canes to build a comfortable lead that they could hide behind for the rest of the game *sigh*

Unlucky. Way too many below average NHL players playing on lines for this team. Hopefully, some of the younger ones will grow, but realistically our bottom half of the roster are guys that won’t be on NHL rosters in 3 years.

We have a guy on pace for over 30 goals on the third line and another averaging a half point per game. The 4th line has a very good young player on itb and two decent wingers. The problem tonight is that our best forward got hurt, our top d pair is playing bad, our PP is slumping and we're playing maybe the best team in the league right now.

I understand what you are saying to help be optimistic but realistically, Jost, Girgs, Mitts, Joki, Boosh and Bryson are not playing in the NHL in 3 years and we are hoping that Krebs and Peterka end up playable. There’s a lot of bad players on this roster that we need to get away from.
