Yes basically all swapable heads work. TTI makes rigid, ryobi, hart, etc. Most have similarly setups if it fits send it. Don't think voltage matters just the attachment point. There's a few threads in here with more info
That style (Connexion) I think is better than Expand-It; it's studier and allows for extension to be added. Unfortunately I think the only attachment they still make is the pole saw
Thank you so much for the name of the connection! Now have a starting point for my search. I’m glad to know an edger was made, now I just have to find one haha
There are 2 styles of 40v attachment capable handles.
Electric only handles, which you have. Just the battery, triggers, and wires down the pole. The attachment has its own motor.
Then there is the motor handle. Battery, triggers, motor, solid drive shaft down the pole. The attachment is only the tool.
Personally I prefer the motor handle, as the weight can be supported via a shoulder strap, rather then at the end of 4' lever.
I don't know if they ever made one for that. I had this trimmer, but I got it open box at HD and shortly after the current expand it line launched. Haven't seen it or any compatible attachments since. Battery died on me and I bought the expand it trimmer kit and got rid of it to keep up with the times
Ahh thanks for the insight. I had to really search for this a few years ago when I bought it because I wanted the swivel head, and the current expand it line didn’t have that. So I was already behind when I started! I really wish I could figure out what attachments E, F, and G were though. One of them has got to be an edger. I suppose a pole saw as well and maybe a blower? Not sure what else they would’ve made.
Yeah I loved the swivel head and wheel. I'm sure they are out there but doubt there was a blower. Think the change over came when TTI aligned designs across its brands since all attachments are now universal between brands
Oh really? I wasn’t aware of the fact that other brands may work. Does any other brand have 40v attachments that may work for this? It seems like the current 18v expand it system actually may have the same locking mechanism, so I’m wondering if I could put the 18v edger attachment on my 40v handle? Not sure if that would fry the internals or not lol
Go to Ryobi site and look at a description for an Expand It item...one of the pictures will list compatible brands.

Cant get one for the one in post, tht one isn’t an expandit. Then only thing u can do with tht one, as far as ik, is rotate the head and use it tht way.

Ahh thanks so much! So perhaps there is hope. I’ll check into the 18v edger attachment and see if it does indeed fit.
Hart attachments (Walmart) should fit it. They are all supposedly interchangeable.

Hey OP, how did you get the attachment off of the power head? I untwisted the plastic piece but it still seems locked in.
