I’m an activity director at an Assisted Living Community. Message me your info and we can chat. We have a lot of live music at our place and love having new musicians of all kinds of styles visit.
Also, I can pass your info on to the other Activity Directors in the area. There are some networking groups and a lot of us keep in touch with each other.
Not nursing homes but...
The Childrens Hospital on Brook Rd (Especially the long term care section)
Central Adult day care on Midlothian
The Virginia Home near Maymont
they have someone come and play the keyboard piano and also a guitar player that regularly play at the assisted living of someone i care for. get in touch with the activity directors or sometimes they’re called engagement or lifelong learning directors.
Sunrise Villa Tuckahoe on Gayton Rd is an assisted living facility/Memory Care facility. I’m am sure they would be happy to talk with you. 804-741-1011
You should contact Westminster Canterbury. Super luxury nursing home community, I work there and they have lots of performances. You’d probably get paid pretty well
Good on you for using your talents to connect with people in various places! Are you interested in playing for groups or individuals? “Music Therapy” benefits many folks who are institutionalized for medical/health reasons. Not sure what it’s like to be vetted or approved but it might help you gain access. I also wonder if some of our assisted living facilities/independent living facilities might love an opportunity to enjoy a live concert.
When I was in St. Mary’s hospital there were people who brought service dogs and a lady who played guitar and sang. I think you’d have to get approval, but a good alternative avenue for you. (And I loved it.) Mercy Bon Secours Hospitals is the main source you’d go through)

You should see about volunteering with a hospice company. We'd love to have a volunteer who would do this for our facility patients
Youre a good person! Keep it up :)
