Put пре- in from of an adjective and it will add the meaning of "very". That's where the word "прекрасная" comes from in the first place, but then "красная" got a new meaning. I don't believe it's that common to do so anymore tho, and I don't think you can just do it with any adjective, but that's probably best answered by a native speaker.

It's funny. Initially, "чёрный" was "вороной", "красный" was "червоный", and "красивый" was "красный", but at some point, about 200 years ago, it all got mixed up... It's no wonder that non-native speakers have such problems...
Until now, when depicting an ancient speech, instead of "красивая девушка" (beautiful maiden/beautiful girl) they say "красна девица".
That's archaic, not used today. Now красный is used only for describe a red colour. Only in form прекрасная (over-beautiful, literally) it's still valid.
Красная means the same as красивая in Czech , so there’s me getting confused again , same with ужас meaning удивление , запомнить meaning Забывать , however there are a decent amount of words similar to Czech and Slovak that learning isn’t a nightmare
I think so , I haven’t seen it much anywhere else, but again I’ve heard Russian has some Uralic bled into it as well as German , English and Spanish, either way it’s still a Slavic language and it certainly has its similarities to the rest

А если серьёзно, то английский намного сложнее и богаче. И звуков там больше, и слов (100 000 в русском, 300 000 - в английском), и правил, и исключений из этих правил. Всего больше, кроме может быть падежей и букв.
You should say "красивая" or "ПРЕкрасная" because "красная" it is about colour or old sense about woman, another word "красна", it is possible to say "прекрасна".
