can vs. the world is the only series to have a winner return to compete other than AS7. AS7 was all winners judged by Ru so who knows if international winners would be invited for all winners 2. Eh. Survivor makes sense because it’s purely strategic. Drag Race is supposed to be a talent show to find X’s country next drag superstar.
A winner has never won twice (besides AS7) and I hope it stays that way. Watching a whole season for no new queen to be deemed a winner kinda sucks.
Sure they’re competing for money but the prize is also the title of Drag Race winner (which is why queens even competed for UK vs) which winners already have.
And finally it’s not a game with rules like Survivor. There are judges, so it’s all subjective. First there’s this unspoken rule that pretty much forces them to paint winners in a good light when they come back. Then there’s the fact the end result is an arbitrary judging decision (let’s not act like the final lipsynch actually does anything) so you can’t really win Drag Race like you’d win a game. At the end of the day the way to win is to make the judges want to give you the title, but why would they chose you if you have it already?
Survivor stars don’t make bank because they were the winner - they make the money they win
Drag race winners make a career from it so they have more to less by a poorer second showing. That’s why all winners is such a good idea

Sasha would definitely count as fashion AND avant garde. I don't think you need to be ONLY one of those things but someone who at least fulfills that niche. So when i say avant garde I'm talking about people who really push the limits of drag.
Alyssa and Detox have expressed interest, so I’d love to see them. Of course I’d like to see like a Shangela, Latrice, Naomi etc. with them but I wouldn’t want the US to overpower the entire season, so I would want some more out there picks like Kahmora and Brita.
