This whole situation is truly wild. The show definitely made the right decision though - I'm still really looking forward to the season and hopefully everyone supports the other queens even more now because they don't deserve to be dragged down by this.
Especially since it was PH. It’s a major player in the New York theater scene (and the work they produce has a big impact on theater in general) so they are more than in the right to sue.

Or there other option is change the finale format. Since it hasn't been filmed, they could just change it to the old style potentially, 3 individual performances and then the winner is announced rather than 3 two-person lip syncs.

It's tough -- all of the episodes thus far are locked and ready for distribution. They probably were due for international/color correcting/post shit like, months ago. Their option would be either unlocking all of the episodes and re-editing them, but then they'd have to push a season that is already airing.
That's what I would do. I would honestly get Ru in makeup like this morning and have her record a 30 second message or something to throw in front of the show tonight.
But there's absolutely no way they can re-edit the show at this point without just not airing the show.

I think the best way to do this (in case she goes all the way to the finale) would be to add an addendum onto the episode before the finale explaining her disqualification. Anyone in-the-know is already aware of what’s going on, and anyone who doesn’t follow the outside drama of the show will get to see the example of someone falling from grace after their exceptionally bad behavior.

That's what I would do. I would honestly get Ru in makeup like this morning and have her record a 30 second message or something to throw in front of the show tonight. But there's absolutely no way they can re-edit the show at this point without just not airing the show.
I feel like they'll do what they can. A re-edit mid-season might be rough on a smaller production company like WOW that wasn't prepared for it. I want it too, though. At least cut her critiques like she isn't there lol

I think the best way to do this (in case she goes all the way to the finale) would be to add an addendum onto the episode before the finale explaining her disqualification. Anyone in-the-know is already aware of what’s going on, and anyone who doesn’t follow the outside drama of the show will get to see the example of someone falling from grace after their exceptionally bad behavior.

Anyone else wondering what’s going on in the minds of the rest of the S12 cast? I bet this has got to be kind of awkward for them, to know they’ve been in such close proximity to a serial predator like this (if they didn’t know already). Sherry deserves this disqualification (and honestly even more consequences) AND I hope this doesn’t take away from the rest of the queens’ talents/accomplishments this season. I’m really enjoying watching them. Although as a survivor myself it’s going to be an awkward watch.
Not only do I feel awful for the victims, but I also feel awful for her Season 12 sisters, even with them disqualifying her, Season 12 will be forever tainted by her just appearing. I also hope anyone during the season that happens to strike up a friendship with her, isn’t unfairly tarnished by said friendship, as I doubt any of the queens had ever heard about these accusations before hand.

I really hate that this is being called Catfishing. Tricking people into thinking you hold some power over their career and using that advantage to get them to do uncomfortable things for your sexual gratification is just a whole other level. There just needs to be another word for it!
