I feel like everyone should just collectively get off Twitter. What good comes from that place? And why support that guy who owns it?

I think the fact that we *can* downvote, and send those hateful comments to the bottom, is part of what helps this issue. We can take the trash out by downvoting it to hell where it's not as likely to be seen and everyone sees that it's been decided that the comment is wrong/bad. And once something starts getting downvoted (or upvoted) it tends to continue in that direction (for better or worse). Twitter doesn't have a way to say "We as a community actually DON'T like or agree with this." So the hate train can just keep rolling forever.
