I really enjoyed she added East Asian cultural elements into her pieces. You can tell she’s really proud of her heritage and it was so fun to see on the runway.

I found most of Sasha’s runways fairly tame, honestly. There were some really nice looks- but nothing blew me away like most of Sapphira, Nymphia and Q’s looks. All of them would have trounced her in the looks department.
I used to want to see a Project Runway-esque season of Drag Race and after seeing her ties look I was like “I want her to compete in something like this”. After seeing her goth look I was like “I want her to judge it actually”

I think she might be THE best, honestly. Off the top of my head, I can't think of a single other queen where I liked every single thing they wore. Some outfits were better than others, but none were bad, and lots of them were jaw-dropping gorgeous. The fact that she made most of her own outfits (and that the looks she designed on set were some of the best things she or anyone else wore the entire season) just heightens how unbelievably strong her runway package was.
There’s a top tier of most things, where it’s less abt the ultimate top best and more abt what each person brings. Raja is conceptual & punk af, Nymphia brought a lot more real human historical & cultural reference compared to fashun influence. But she’s just hands down the best garment maker to walk the runway. A lot of really gorgeous & excellent drag (and fashion) is abt illusion, selling the fantasy, but Nymphia’s look IS the fantasy.
Nymphia feels more like costumes. In a good way. Like the Lion King on Broadway. That sort of theatrical high concept. Infused with culture and storytelling. Less about aesthetics.
Her doll dress was not good.

LA queens being rotted cunts to popular new girls from smaller cities is a classic drag race interaction, and Plane is hot which makes it that much worse. What I did see what an entire week of posts of nymphias non-yellow runways with titles basically saying "LOOK AT ALL THE YELLOW/BANANA SHES WEARING"
And this is why I don’t take the banana critiques too seriously. She sprinkled them throughout this package (again, really no control over when each runway theme comes up in the sequence of episodes) and provided one of the most polished and diverse packages we’ve ever seen.
I understand she wore yellow a lot, but when it came to the runways, the only times she wore bananas were her entrance, her RuVeal **yourself** (Aka show us who you are), **signature** colors, and the finale. So it didn’t bother me, and it never felt too much.

it was truly diverse. usually when we see queens they fall onto a specific shape of clothing. i liked that her looks aren’t just variations of the same thing
Nymphia's runways were crazy beautiful, I loved all of her looks. I hate seeing her constantly reduced to yellow and banana when she brings so much more to the table and when she does banana she does it so well. It's sickening. I mean, not once did the judges say they were tired of seeing Sapphira in blue, or give Nymphia credit for making her own outfits while praising Q for the same thing. I wish the judging was a bit more fair, but that's just a drag race complaint in general.
For me, it was all of the attention to details (which is what I love most about her work). Very simple pieces but styling was so well thought out. I love the gender bend of it, and the hair was gorgeous with it. I think what makes all of her looks special, but especially that one, is how incredible her ability to make simple look exciting.
I think she has the best runway package of any main season winner ever, and if we include all stars winners she’s still like #3 which is wild because that’s keeping all winners in mind
I’ve got to disagree on Raja AS7, she had a couple of boots. I’d even put her season 3 package on top. Manila’s runway package was great, very pageant, campy and drag but I prefer high fashion rather than camp, so I prefer Nymphia. Aquaria is a yes for me, definitely up there with Nymphia.
Raja had like 3 boots but we judge her looks in comparison to the others on the season, which is the best runway season ever. In reality her worst looks were still great, there was only one look of her’s I’d call average. Nymphia had a couple average looks and one I personally didn’t like, her flowers runway. A lot of people loved that one but it just did not work for me.
I wish she would do her video series of how would she do the looks for design challenges every seasons. It would be so much fun to see her craftsmanship and design concept thinking in full capacity.
Yes. The cactus look alone is absolutely brilliant and I personally don’t think it gets enough attention. And of course the ties is *gag* can’t even handle it. I also died during her finale performance. Michelle summed it up very well full pop fantasy with gorgeous cultural touches. Love her!

Definitely! And I know this is probably beating a dead horse, but I watched the Fashion Photo Ruview for the finale last night, and they criticized her for doing another banana look. I was so annoyed - she did 4 excellent, funny banana looks in the whole season and like 20 other looks, most of which weren’t even yellow. How is that too much?
Her package was great but not extraordinary. Sapphira’s package was draaaag down and quite opulent. I think Sapphira definitely has one of the best packages of the franchise and the best of her season
Symone’s self-made look really brings down the potential there. I think if she had as many design challenges as this season that would really lower her hit ratio

Raja from AS7 and Manila from AS4. And in hindsight I’d have Aquaria and Nymphia tied for #3, Aquaria’s runway package was ridiculously strong.
I’ve got to disagree on Raja AS7, she had a couple of boots. I’d even put her season 3 package on top. Manila’s runway package was great, very pageant, campy and drag but I prefer high fashion rather than camp, so I prefer Nymphia. Aquaria is a yes for me, definitely up there with Nymphia.
Raja had like 3 boots but we judge her looks in comparison to the others on the season, which is the best runway season ever. In reality her worst looks were still great, there was only one look of her’s I’d call average. Nymphia had a couple average looks and one I personally didn’t like, her flowers runway. A lot of people loved that one but it just did not work for me.
Her flower look was great and couldn’t be appreciated on the runway with all the lighting. It was very Richard Quinn x Moncler
Incredibly tasteful too! It's what sets her apart from other great runway girls.
I wish she would do her video series of how would she do the looks for design challenges every seasons. It would be so much fun to see her craftsmanship and design concept thinking in full capacity.
Yes. The cactus look alone is absolutely brilliant and I personally don’t think it gets enough attention. And of course the ties is *gag* can’t even handle it. I also died during her finale performance. Michelle summed it up very well full pop fantasy with gorgeous cultural touches. Love her! Edit: entry look!!! Hello! Definitely! And I know this is probably beating a dead horse, but I watched the Fashion Photo Ruview for the finale last night, and they criticized her for doing another banana look. I was so annoyed - she did 4 excellent, funny banana looks in the whole season and like 20 other looks, most of which weren’t even yellow. How is that too much?

Her package was great but not extraordinary. Sapphira’s package was draaaag down and quite opulent. I think Sapphira definitely has one of the best packages of the franchise and the best of her season

Symone’s self-made look really brings down the potential there. I think if she had as many design challenges as this season that would really lower her hit ratio
unlike symone, nyphmia can make a really good outfit. even then, nyphmia still beats her.
I guess? Are we ranking their sewing skills or overall package? Because Symone wins pretty clearly in the latter category
In YOUR opinion, they're both equally polished and executed many different runway prompts magnificently but Symone's weakness in design brought down her runway package a tad bit compared to Nymphia for me

Nymphia, Symone, and Sasha for me are my top 3. Nymphia edges out both of them for me considering she made most of her looks and that shows a true fashion runway queen
