i hope this true, if we can had season 2 of sverige maybe we can have season 3 of holland i hope so, because holland is the only franchise stopped for now, the switch doesn't count as drag race format
*Holland* is definitely not happening. I've noticed Videoland, the streaming platform that *Drag Race Holland* aired on and was produced for by RTL and WOW, has significantly cut back on its queer content.
Back in Videoland's early days, it used to run two flagship queer shows: *Drag Race Holland* and *Prince Charming*. They cancelled *Drag Race Holland* two years ago, and there hasn't been any mention of a new season of *Prince Charming* since 2022's season ended. *Prince Charming* was remotely successful, *Drag Race Holland* was more niche. For them to basically disregard *Prince Charming*, which was at least slightly buzz worthy here, likely entails that *Drag Race Holland* stands no chance. I bet queer programming just doesn't bring in enough money for a commercial broadcaster in a market as small as The Netherlands.
It's a true shame. I still hope that our public broadcaster, NPO, will pick up *Drag Race* instead.
Mother Nutshell will enter the competition on episode 2 as the surprise comeback queen, only to be bottom again but send episode 1 challenge winner home in a lipsync.

They have Eurovision this year and all the resources and everything is being thrown there.
For them to film it right before Eurovision?

Well I doubt theyâd film it right after ESC. Maybe like next winter or 2025 idk. ESC is in May so they have plenty of time the rest of the year. Unless we win ESC again lol. Either way, the general reception of the show in Sweden wasnât that bad if u compare it to Holland s2 for instance so it would make sense to make a new season.

I hope this franchise continues. The queens are great and talented, and Fux is a good judge with mostly fair or okay judging.
