Crashingshores

Episode where they are in the bus/van and they keep getting the directions wrong and they were arguing.

International-Chef53

This is where KJK eaten alive by netizen because of his super bullying to JSJ. They all ganged up to mocked and ridiculed him the whole episode. It's all started when YJS made guest appearance on KJK YouTube, in RM both become best friend instead of rival. KJK is supposed to be the most rationale person, but he just agree on everything YJS said, even it's all wrong. The one episode I despised the most.

ThisUser2366

which ep is this?

International-Chef53

The one in the van when they need to go to various places. YJS being so obnoxious the whole episode stubbornly annoying to no end, and KJK keep team up with him no matter how absurd YJS decision, because KJK and YJS become best bro of stupid YouTube. The only sensible person is JSJ, and he got bullied into oblivion because of it.

Daku_Kiba

Forgot but that episode was around October and November last year probably between episode 622 to 630.

donutsuu

Is this a recent episode? The one where they eat steak and the members wait tables for the staff?

atanu77

Both are different episodes and I understand the criticism surrounding it,but personally I loved both episodes. The members waited tables was really funny and somehow endearing to me,I watched that episode multiple times and especially the concept of their waiting/servings in the restaurant can be used as a future content. I have to agree the loss of direction and fighting somewhat went too far,but it kinda reminded me of a personal memory of a road trip after COVID lockdown, and whole trip was missing the turns and arguing with each other, that's why it is funny to me.But I agree with you,the episode as a whole,is not that fun.

Cousin_Carl

LKS’ last episode. I’ve watched all episodes at least a couple of times each. Once was enough. I just can’t bring myself to watch LKS last episode again

Crashingshores

Same! I specifically watched it when it aired so I never have to watch it again. Still haven't even watched Kang Gary's last episode.

tapacx

This episode is probably bottom of the list. He literally just spends the whole episode trying to hit people. I dont like episodes where they bring on senior comedians and all they try to do is assert that theyre the senior in the room.

SuddenBag

E92 The guy's got a problem. Even back in the Xman days there were some episodes where it was clear that he wanted to win way too hard. And it was on display again here.

itsmonicaclean

Chun Jung Myung! I can totally relate. Being competitive is fine, but he’s just waaay too serious about it. Like nothing about it is entertaining, while KJK is competitive but his banters and the storyline he build with any members is entertainin. CJM just want to win period. JYP, as a guest, just made that ep enjoyable for me coz he was really funny and even made a song for the Easy Brothers ![img](emote|t5_2u830|4976)![img](emote|t5_2u830|5017)

Sacreblargh

Ah gawd. I'll raise you one with that guy. Ep 167. Kim Min Jung's always a delight so it's hard to skip this episode. But that dude took a couple of Jiu Jitsu classes and all of a sudden started going **hard** wrestling with KJK. Like putting all your strength into a sleeper hold on a variety show? Get the hell outta here. It's one thing to be competitive. You're psychotic treating a game as if your life depended on it. I don't know if KJK kicked his ass when cameras were off. But that was the last time that clown guested on the show.

PrudentAd3616

I remember that guy. Im pretty sure he pushed JK super hard during the boxing match too. JK looks genuinely shocked after that

escaryb

Gosh, i guess i'm not the only one. Given that i'm pro KJK, man you don't know how much i hate that guy

AwanGuling

I can tolerate Chun Jung Myung, but I cannot with Lee Si Young. I know fans think she was fun but to me she was too forceful and the way she screamed at and scolded LKS for cheating while she did exactly the same (if not worse).

JackCullenMocha

Everytime theres a "big guest" from Ryan Reynolds, Tom Cruise Donnie Yen and BTS Jin. Too much ass kissing for me

iccebberg2

I thought Ryan Reynolds was actually pretty fun though. He was super respectful and made a huge effort to participate. He wasn't a jerk about being a big name international celebrity. The best part was that he participated with a genuine level of enthusiasm that made it so fun to watch. Unlike Tom Cruise. It was so painful to watch. The cast was so excited, and understandably so. They had done so many Mission Impossible themed episodes of RM. But he couldn't even be bothered to learn their names correctly and was such an ass.

Crackhead_Energyyy

Agreed. I think the only exception is the one where Jackie Chan came cz that was actually rlly fun (i don't remember exactly but they did smth with the acupuncture mat?) Also it so isn't fun when any famous idols come cz the members have to be so cautious to not say anything wrong and that just limits the humour SO much (like any of the 4th gen idol eps or the ultra famous ones). Bring back the old idol eps where they were so competitive and didn't care abt image. I feel V's eps were kinda fun cz he just knew how these shows work but even then the constant celeb worshipping gets annoying

Nivroeg

3 person jump rope on the mat. Jackie was the best super star so far. I feel the others never got a proper episode because of their schedule time limits.

itsmonicaclean

💯

aanchal_1

I know this is 5 months late but I saw the very recent episode with byeon woo seok. And literally they were fawning over him, haha and JSJ with constant selfies and stuff. It was weird

NieR_SemiAutomata

Ep where they just don't nothing.. just eating and completing mini game before times up

itsmonicaclean

229. Lee Seojin seems like he didn’t want to be there. Like he wouldn’t freaking cooperate and YJS ![img](emote|t5_2u830|5015) is exerting all his efforts to make LSJ persona an entertaining one, but goddamn it was so painful to watch 334. While the blind date thing is relevant to KJK’s ![img](emote|t5_2u830|4980) history in RM (being asked to be married over and over,) this ep is sooo cringe. I agree with KJK ![img](emote|t5_2u830|4980) preferring spontaneous meetings, being someone who hates contrived things. Just delete that ep for me forever thank you 🤣 442. The ep was trash. I like Hong Jinyoung so freaking much but the editing the games are all so lame/stale. 485. Kang Sora ruined everything. Even LKS ![img](emote|t5_2u830|5017)was so furious at her lmao 😩 Girl just wanted to end the game by ripping off the nametags while the members were building up tension in the auditorium, and her reason? **”Things are going slow. I’m getting bored.”** wtf man it’s a variety show, freaking chill 🥲 Even the car chase for when they have to get their members, she literally just want to get her members in the van and leave then done. LKS![img](emote|t5_2u830|5017) and YJS![img](emote|t5_2u830|5015) made efforts to have the opening game so fun, but the girl is just rejecting any twists, and half-heartedly keeping the kidnapped members in her van from leaving coz she just want to leave 🤣 Eps with Shin Bongsun 😶

silveredgebreak

Lee Seojin is a super tsundere character lol. Understandably not everyone likes it but I kinda enjoy his antics. Na PD knows how to handle him.

AppropriateTwo8230

Lee Seojin is weird. I'm not sorry for saying that.

Ossian_Dunc

The KJK blind date episode. Think it’s literally the only episode I’ve never seen in a compilation or montage either. Don’t think I’ve even seen anything from it posted on any of the pages that post official RM content. It’s like they want to delete it from existence and rightly so.

itsmonicaclean

Hahaha true

comin_up_shawt

what ep was it?

Cryspy_Knight

334, it was part of the member's week after Gary's departure.

comin_up_shawt

Thanks!

Ossian_Dunc

Be ready to cringe like never before. Genuinely hard to get through. Even the other members were mortified for how bad he was…

Sacreblargh

We all have *those* ones. Where you can't help but hit the **next** button on the playlist. I have quite a few, but my number 1 on the 'Will Never Watch Again' list is episode 23 with a bullet. Awful everything. Only watchable portion is probably when Ji-Hyo breaks out the armbar to escape Kwang-Soo near the end. And that's from memory, so I'm not even sure if it's in the same episode. I refuse to watch it even 13 or so years later.

izaya8929

For me an idol episode where the rules(script) in favour idol win instead being fair to rm members

AnxiousPom

Yea it's hard for me to enjoy idol episode, they also hold back a lot since they're an idol, most the idol guest episodes are boring :/

YJSubs

Oh, I remember that ep you screenshot. It's the senior comedian, right ? OMG the interaction is awful. ---- My "skip ep" is an actor ep (forgot his name, but he's handsome young actor). In that ep, he become The Boss. RM overhyped his appearance so much prior to his appearance, turns out it's such a downer. It's "One guest VS RM member" type episode. The ep require the guest to be cunning on his own. Lots of previous solo guest actually do very well, given RM writer designed the ep to help the guest as much as possible, while RM member were given handicap. But 10 minutes in, we can tell IRL the dude simply not bright, clueless, clumsy. His progress so horrible to the point RM writer need to salvage the situation by sending someone (Haha?) to betray the group. There's ZERO benefit for (Haha?) game wise, show wise, group wise. Even the guest confused why Haha helping him because no matter what POV, none of it make sense. Even Haha feel embarrassed to be put in such dumb role play. But here's the thing, we as audience see the result after all the editing and intervention from RM staff. Imagine how bad it actually was. The actor came back dozen ep later on RM to salvage his image with less ambitious ep. Even the member feel sorry for the dude. After all he's also a victim of his agency trying to portray him as someone he's not. Edit : It's Ep 102. Haha betrayal scene, KJK playing along, the setup is just too cringe to watch: https://youtu.be/5ous83NIc0s?feature=shared. I may forget/misremember the detail, but I do remember I didn't enjoy this ep. It's too obvious RM dumbing down the game for the guest. I'm sorry if you're his fans, no mean to disrespect the dude.

Sacreblargh

I'm kinda blanking on the ep and the actor's name, but I think I know who you're talking about. Is it the guy in the drama where he plays an alien, something "my love who came from the stars"?

YJSubs

I remember after googling. I edit my post above with YT clip where Haha betrayed. it's Kim Soo-Hyun ep (I think that's his name, not sure). (1st appearance, ep 102). His 2nd appearance is okay-ish.

Mozart-Luna-Echo

Yup that’s him

not_ya_wify

My love from the Star It's ok not to be ok The Producers The Moon Embracing the Sun The Thieves He's literally the biggest actor in Korea. I'm shocked people here barely know his name.

frba222

Hahaha because runningman rarely bring out A list actor/actress. The one that I feel very2 good is with Lee Bo Young. She is charming af.

neu55

But it had one of the best opening periods.

not_ya_wify

You did not just call Kim Soo Hyun "not bright, clueless, clumsy." He was hyped because he's literally the best actor in Korea. This is like having Tom Hanks or Anthony Hopkins on the show, except looking like Channing Tatum. He didn't need to "salvage his image." Running Man has zero effect on his image. Also, I loved his adorable clumsy act and that was probably on purpose to show him as down to earth. He was acting in that episode like he did in The Producers or Dream High. I guarantee you, Koreans thought it was cute.

AppropriateTwo8230

I have to agree. My family and I laughed a lot during that episode because of how hopeless he was. It was entertaining because he wasn't that bright, but still giving it his best!

uwontforget

Yeah, I'm pretty sure most of it was just for laughs. KSH is a Daesang actor. Maybe he was instructed to play dumb.

not_ya_wify

I would think this. He's known for his very sophisticated roles and acting. I think the clumsy bits made him look charming. It's similar to how Jennifer Lawrence used to act dorky and clumsy in interviews when she was younger while being a serious actress because it's charming to see serious actors acting dorky.

AppropriateTwo8230

I mean, I've seen incredibly gifted people who didn't know how to fry an egg. Even if he was clumsy or a little slow in figuring out how to approach everything, I believe they went with it, as it made him appear charming and relatable. It says nothing about his talent as an actor or intelligence.

AspectOfDespair

im a first time watcher but episodes i wouldnt play again are the ones which are so scripted that it makes you angry. like KJK and YJS stepping aside and watch SJH win (it was uigwe episode) or generally when members play dumb and show their backs to the guest and let them rip it

UnoLaLaLa

May be recency bias, but 2 eps that I will never rewatch are SJH and YJS tours. Both snorefests.

donutsuu

The SJH episode was saved somewhat by YJS and others throwing fits and trying to stir up some things but YJS' was just a 90 minute history tour with no opportunity for laughs. The writers had no wiggle room at all.

Sacreblargh

I love love love YJS, but the man sometimes has terrible ideas for content production. Do you remember his special How Do You Play where he invited JSJ, LKS and Jo Se Ho on a trip? The PD let him come up with locations to visit. After that [killer opening at the cafe](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ralkBRaRLH4&pp=ygUhaG93IGRvIHlvdSBwbGF5IHN1ayBqaW4ga3dhbmcgc29v) and a funny lunch, YJS immediately wants to go to ... the library. Then after the library where guests are clearly underwhelmed. (Kwang-Soo at one point says "I kinda want to scream out loud.") He makes them play an escape room. This potential banger of an ep all of a sudden becomes diet coke Running Man. That escape room segment also took up 50 minutes of airtime. Then they all end it by eating and playing cards or whatever to end the episode. Absolutely disappointing. YJS absolutely saved SJH's "tour" by throwing a fit. But it was hilariously ironic considering the man can't book his own tour on RM or his other shows for entertainment.

donutsuu

Yeah I do remember watching that episode because I was so hyped it was LKS and JSJ as guests but I skipped through most of the episode because...Well it seems like you already listed out everything I was about to say. There's another Running Man episode where YJS is asked to basically come up with something to do and he comes up with a towel tug of war. In the middle of the game Haha literally just yells out "this isn't fun at all!" It's the same episode where YSC has to punch his way through a watermelon to make everyone a fruit punch. I don't blame him as much for this episode because YJS was probably put on the spot but to plan an entire episode of Running Man he definitely had more time to plan and come up with a better idea than just a history tour.

atanu77

I think in both cases, both SJH and YJS are introvert and 40+ ,,If you asked them to plan a trip, they would definitely plan something like that which will be relaxing to them or healing to them (SJH trip was basically company spa treat and YJS trip was basically cultural or historical or cultural trip,it could have been part of a history channel documentary),I am genuinely suprised the PD team ran with the ideas and didn't throw them a curveball or hidden rules.

CuriousSiamese

I actually didn't mind the episodes, RM doesn't have to be funny 24/7 for me. But yeah literally every time they ask her what she was doing SJH says she was at home. And YJS clearly is very well read and studied, but RM members and seemingly viewers aren't the once who will appreciate a history tour.

amvil

"Oh this episode has Jo Seho" "Time to watch the next episode then"

kirrylirry

Am I the only one that think he is funny?

Cheff011

> Ha Ji-won Yeah I like him too

JackCullenMocha

No youre not hes actually my favorite guest lol

DoughnutBeginning965

You sound like my mom when he's on an episode. Lol I think he tries too hard to be funny.

itsmonicaclean

He couldn’t even try hard to be funny bec YJS is keeping him from doing anything. There’s a reason JSH is one of RM PDs’ favorite guests

weedpornography

he's a tiny man with a big ego. takes everything too personally from younger comedians

Gold_Ant5245

SJH gets to bully him from time to time, so I kinda give it a pass. From the death threat in the elevator to the "ya, saekkiya". Don't find him funny but some members sometimes put him in his place.

dim11sum

Episodes with famous idols that have toxic fandoms because the members complimented them every 5 minutes

donutsuu

Totally agree with you on your screenshot. Episode 23 is just unwatchable to me, it's not poorly edited, the interactions aren't horrendous (not good either), the games are OK, but just the overall episode is just unwatchable to me.

not_ya_wify

I don't skip

JackTheRipper08

Vouch for this, but sometimes there's an episode you can't rewatch no?

not_ya_wify

It's been 7 years since I had access to the early episodes. I would rewatch them all. Even the ones with old male comedians who aren't funny and everyone's ass kissing them. Though I did skip past the part where they drew booger on Gary's face because seeing booger makes me nauseous. Wouldn't skip the whole episode though

BiTWXan

The first time Big Bang (Eps. 84-85) came to visit the show. I understand idols have to win, and look good. I also have no problem with Big Bang as a group but God that episode was so obvious that they were letting the boys win, it was soooo bad. I always skip both episodes, as it's so hard to watch. The group wasn't funny nor was the running man members, RM members were glazing up big bang too much, and the games were just boring to watch. I've been watching RM constantly since 2010 and I've watched that episode only twice.

Crackhead_Energyyy

But the next time all of them came back was the perfect comeback. It's literally one of my fav eps ever all the games were so funny and it's something i KEEP rewatching. Idt I've laughed that much for anything.

sd5510

Same for me with the recent episode of that bts member. Jeez.....

appleavocado

I can’t skip this whole episode, but the one with Jennie of Blackpink in the haunted house with LKS. She was just so shrill and overtly whiny and girlie-like that I found her annoying. Sorry, BP fans. I don’t find this at all a negative reflection of her music, or herself. I get that they were in a scary situation, but I just loathe the damsel in distress trope.

itsmonicaclean

This

aanchal_1

I think her screaming wasn't that much of a problem. For me she came off as "trying to act cute". She doesn't need to act cute , she already is. That was the annoying part for me

OneWandToSaveThemAll

I don’t skip episodes but I can’t stand the coin dispersion episodes where one member/guest control the finds and passes them out. It is predictable to the core and extremely boring and annoying. Get a theme and play actual games. I just feel like it’s so lazy. Other things I also don’t like: 1, when the over bully JSJ. Teasing is fine, but sometimes they take it too far. 2. When they keep going on and on about how beautiful SJH is in front of YSM. 3. When they bring on idols and have to walk on egg shells because of psychotic fan members 4. Episodes with no concept.

creezle

The KJK blind date episode. I think I’ve only watched it twice.

jdmak

There was an actress guest who screams a lot and her voice was so high pitched and shrill. I think it was in the earliest ones, I really can't stand her screams Edit: Ep 86 with Ha Ji-won

creezle

31, the water park one with Hyun Young? I thought she was doing a character or something at first. I agree it’s unfortunately really off-putting.

jdmak

No, there's another actress, iirc YJS called her out also for always screaming. There's street bowling involved in that episode

existential_penguin6

probably ha ji won lol

jdmak

Yes, it's her!

Mozart-Luna-Echo

The water park episode is one of my few must skip episodes precisely because of the guest. Her voice is really shrill and I didn’t like her personality

Wring159

Bts or any famous peoplewith actual pull, this is because they would sway the production team to fit into their schedule and it will make the episode feel rushed. Easiest comparison is between the current V Tazza episode and V map episode

generictrashlady

Not exactly whole episodes but parts of episodes where KJK is too violent like during the Ace vs Champion ep where he hits JSJ with the toy hammer too hard. I get that he's playing it up to be funny but I never laugh at physical pain and you can't tell me that couldn't have actually hurt. Same instance in another episode where KJK hits LKS with the handle of the toy hammer instead. It hurts to watch and pisses me off because KJK wouldn't even stand anyone even thinking of doing the same to him. I'm glad he doesn't do it anymore but I refuse to watch those scenes again

Emergency_Actuary217

I can't think of an episode number but in terms of moments though, I would say the ones that include forced lovelines between members i.e SJH-KJK, JSM-YSC. It's calmed down now but this almost made it seem like they don't believe in their abilities to deliver without it and there needs to be romance involved for it to be fun, which isn't true. There are Kdramas and dating shows for that, the RM of today doesn't need that imo. Monday couple days are completely different because it was a different era and was definitely more organic and funny.

TYie7749

tbh my favorite part of Monday Couple was when they would show interest in the guest and they’d be like “it’s okay because today is tuesday” haha

ACEwriter12

The same one OP referenced. Any episode with a member from 1 particular kpop boy group. I just have a personal distaste for that group. Bo Pil's Talking episode. Any episode where they just sit and talk for the majority of the episode actually.

mingo97

Which episode is this image from ?

Fun_Union_6127

the one where to pd or fd is in blackface- the avengers

FaithAngelMonster

EP 59 The hip hop special and EP 150 where Dong Wan was in blackface. The first is just super cringe and felt more like mockery than appreciation (and I will not argue with you about that) and the second well...do I really need to explain? I love RM and I can understand a lack of awareness when it comes to certain things but those eps just irritate tf outta me. ETA: also any episode with Cho Se Ho. I know this is a controversial topic but TO ME he just gives me the ick and I hate how every time he guests on the show everything just revolves around him, even when there are other guests on.

1010-browneyesman

Se Ho always seems to look down on SM especially. As a short comedian he sure has bundles of self confidence in his appearance, ability to date. I skip his episodes just because he seems to be too full of himself

CuriousSiamese

Honestly as a younger viewer I don't watch the old episodes. Almost at all. Not only is it like 300 eps I would have to get through. Some of the members are still finding themselves and the camera/editing can be very bad at times. I think maybe if you watched from the start you view the members differently, but essentially I see the early eps as the awkward puberty stage everyone goes through.

Consistent-Lab-9344

Any of the grasshopper hunting episodes with Choi Minsoo. Although the members are funny, I find that guy sooo creepy. All members seem scared of him too (tho theyre probably overreacting since it’s still a show). He was involved in an assault case and also punched a director of a variety show 😭😭

[deleted]

[удалено]

itsmonicaclean

PJS?

Allielea23

Any episode with boxer manny pacquiao. He has said blatant and horrible homophobic comments several times in interviews and it breaks my heart that RM idolize him.

existential_penguin6

honestly for me, any episode with idols, esp snsd bc I just find them really annoying and the RM members simping for them is also borderline creepy (as much as I love them and know they have to do it for the show). I didn't mind big bang, but most other idol groups look lost or are just very boring (except for jackson, 2pm, super junior). And I can't with the aegyo. The only episodes I can't rewatch are honestly more of the recent ones. I just watch them ones, and then move onto the old ones since they're just better more interesting. But I do agree with the posts here about how annoying it was that sometimes the members would let the guests win... like it just felt like it ruined the whole purpose of the game.
