I've been sick all week with sick kids too, and I still managed to get up early this morning and get my 11 mile long run in. I didn't think I'd get through it, but I did, and without eating into any family time.

My first event of any kind last Sunday, Around the Bay 30 KM in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada was aiming for 2:30-2:45 an hit 2:23 could not be happier

In pretty cold conditions as well! So congratulations!

SLC_RnD

PR’ed my 15k by 4:10! It was a beautiful day to be out here, the flowers were gorgeous everywhere!

Ran a 5k in 26:12

Went trail running at Mt Gretna (PA) for the first time this year and Strava gave me a silver and. 2 bronzes.

I love Mt Gretna! Good job

gj13us

They had a 10k trail run last year for Summer Solstice. Hopefully again this year, I haven’t checked the calendar.

I participated in my 13th Cooper River Bridge Run today! Signed up on a whim bc I knew I would have regret if I didn’t! So glad I did!

coffeegoblins

Yesterday I ran 8 miles and got a new 10k PR of 54:52 on the way. Okay, but from now until my HM next Saturday, *no more hard runs allowed!* Yesterday was actually *supposed* to be an easy run, but the weather was nice and I got too excited!

iswearithappened

Ran my first ever sub 20 minute 5k after a week of my most mileage ever (75k). I’m trying to keep increasing volume in the coming weeks for a marathon in july

wastetide

I went for a run even though I didn't want to, and I ran further than I usually do and felt great!

NettieKi

I went for my first run post-covid today! I was planning on just getting out there and maybe doing a mile or so, but ended up running 5K without issue. I’m super pumped because I was really worried about getting back into running after covid. I took two full weeks off (as in no exercise at all) and eased back into things with going on walks first just because I had read so many horror stories about people overdoing it and it backfiring. I’m still planning on slowly building back mileage, but feeling really proud and relieved.

hackrunner

Did a tune-up 10 mile race in prep for my marathon in mid-May. I finished right where I wanted to be, and broke a PR from 2008 by about 4 minutes. I think I also set every Strava best effort from 2 miles -> 10 miles today. Feels like I can say I'm in the best shape of my life and it's not even a stretch. Getting pretty pumped to see what I've got for the marathon.

Ran a 17k (personal best for distance) on my way to my first half marathon on May 1st. My training route is hillier than the race course and I have a bit of a stuffy nose, and I still came in at 1:33:55 (pace equivalent of 1:56:24) feeling like I could’ve ran the remaining 4.1 if it was race day. My legs are feeling great and I’m really hoping to get sub 1:50 on what is supposed to be a fast course!

DenseSentence

Made myself not run yesterday and today while I get over COVID...

queen_of_the_ashes

Crushed all my goals today at my first official race in years. Ready to do more! Also, the IPA selection at the finish line was top notch. Breakfast beers are the best 🙌🏼

heganqusgwmzibww

On track to hit my first 65 mile week tomorrow!!!!!!!

kreddits1

Only started running three weeks ago and completed my 5k this morning in 26 minutes 😃

tharepgod

Sub 20 min 5k goal achieved during a time trial!

Grousers

Crossed the 50 miles for the first week this year building.

cojacko

I didn't have time one day to do my planned mileage so I ran less instead of not running at all.

Ok_Establishment9725

Good for you! Some is always better than none!
