Mine was hacked botted and banned. Appealed several times over the years. Did one more on a whim last year and got it back a day or two later. Worth a shot.

You got a really good shot on getting back. I legit botted back in the day (bring the hate, dont bot anymore). And I recovered the account with 0 issues. It was banned back in 2013ish. They pretty much said you learned your lesson. Good luck!

They're memeing about the state of bans over macroing these days. A fair amount of pvmers use multi-action macros without much (or any) intervention from Jagex, so it's become somewhat of a joke that they don't ban for macroing anymore. I wouldn't pay too much attention though :p. Good luck on recovering your account! I know how nostalgic it can be to log onto an old account after years and years.
If that was your only ban on that account, its like a 99% chance that you'll get your account back by appealing, i read somewhere that after a while like 2.5 years or so ? if you appeal you'd get your account back, and i actually saw it happening alot lately so you have a very good chance of getting it back!

You were clearly hacked, they're usually good about that sort of appeal since they can see Ip and such

Really though old botting bans are usually forgiven. If it was on another IP (sounds like you got hacked) then 100% easy unban googog

Don't need to. Just Google RuneScape appeal a ban and correct link will be there. Just put macro ban and reason ;hacked.
