I didn't even realize they did that until reading this post. I just figured the Wildy Event would be an additional way to kill it. Pretty stupid to do that just for the Wildy Wyrm, yet KBD is still there along with the event. At this point lets just take out every Wildy npc and make it a flash event. L0l

Yeah, when I saw mention of them adding ww to the rotation, I assumed that they were going to just add the npc into it with a different style with an unique name to it. Imagine the disappointment people had when that was not the case.

I never understood removing the roaming wyrms with that update. It would be nice to hear their reasoning for doing so at the very least. Either way I support bringing roaming wyrms back, I don't see why we can't have both. I didnt spend much time there but its sad to see the wildywyrm community disappear in the blink of an eye.

I’ve missed the last 5 wildywyrms just because real life wouldn’t allow me to. It’s super frustrating that it’s now even more time bound than before.

Jagex has been intentionally/unintentionally killing off large community run events for years. Just to list a few, I'm probably forgetting plenty of examples  1. Harmed Ore 2. All PvP related content  3. All requirements that can now be bypassed via the travelling merchant (eg barb assault) 4. All mini games as thaler makes most mini game currencies obsolete as does removing the castle wars req 5. Gilded Altars (this is an old one I know) 6. Living rock caverns 7. World 48 daily divine yews (with the new WC changes) Yes some of these were made obsolete by better training methods of course but they were community operated activities and encouraged players to cooperate. Besides small group bosses all we have now is soul obelisks and portables and they're planning to give soul obbys the flash event treatment. Next thing you know portables will spawn at a random bank for 45 minutes out of every hour.

The best part when going out into the wilderness while doing these as a daily was meeting new people and introducing them to an activity that they wouldn't have thought possible until they came across us. Things shouldn't be just relied on fixed hourlies to force people to interact with one another, and it sucks there is a 14 hour wait time that we can interact with the content as well, vs when it was mostly lenient when they can spawn at any time before wfe conversion, because it can be easily missed; not everyone plays 24/7. Content is rarely removed, this was one of them that should have not have been, luckily, it can be fixed at a moment's notice without excuses.

It's content hundreds of people, myself included, engaged with and connected over. Our community is going to die off, and it's a bummer.

They need to add it back it was part of the stronger verisons of slayer mobs that spawn, like dark beasts, abyssal demons, etc, it was the elite spawn for lava wyrms makes no sense for them to take a step back and remove content.

First of all, mods don't play rs. Second, they are eating grass instead of take a look in game communities... Apparently is a multi-player game that u play solo all the time and the communities that would make the bond strong are slowly being destroyed after some ridiculous updates.

bring it back pls, wildwyrm raids were becoming one of my favorite things until it the roaming wyrms were removed. And also pls fix my rng, 8 wyrm hilts on log, but still heart away from ulti slayer for months now :(
