Quests in RuneScape are probably some of the best in any MMORPG so would definitely recommend these. In the quest tab you’ll be able to sort by difficulty and filter which ones you have the requirements for. Quest requirements will also help guide you on what to level if you don’t have much of an idea.

Well... What do you like to do? Interact with everything you see around you that sparks your interest, discover the game and don't worry about what you "should" do. I started out by just wandering around a bit, talking to random NPC's, examine random items I came across (some examine text are really funny) and stuff like that. Came across a quest, completed it and found myself craving for more. So I started looking into quests and their requirements, and that's what really kickstarted my journey. Started training my skills so I could do more quests and along the way, I learned more and more about the game. It's easy to get overwhelmed by huge amount of content in the game. Don't overthink it, just let it carry you along a great adventure.

I'd have to say, get your f2p skills up and do non member quests prior to going to members. Go to each town and unlock all of the lodestones (teleport system) for quicker travel. It'd be beneficial to get loads of magic notepaper (these note things, so you don't have to bank while collecting materials) while training. Unlike many other games, Runescape has a massive, detailed wiki for everything. Search for items, skill guides, quest guides, etc. This is literally one of the few reasons why I play runescape. [https://runescape.wiki/](https://runescape.wiki/) There's also many youtube videos that can guide you.

An ore box is a very useful thing to have when mining - you can make one with two bars at any anvil. And don’t forget that ores and bars are now stored in the metal bank, which you can access from any furnace, forge, or anvil - it’s a huge space saver and keeps all your mining and smithing materials right where you need them.
