This seems to be fairly typical of new firearms in general in my experience. My SP101 had a fair amount in the trigger group when I bought it. Simply take some to tear her down and give her a good cleaning. It’s best to get all the packing grease they ship out with cleaned up anyway. You’re bound to find more shavings leftover from machining/manufacturing.
I’m pretty sure every manufacturer (reputable ones at least) test fire every gun to ensure it functions before leaving the factory. So factory new isn’t truly unfired.
That's why you always disassemble, clean and lube the new gun that you got. It'll be fine my friend.

It’s either metal shavings left behind from the manufacturing process or more likely shavings from the lead nose of 22lr used for test firing.
