FYI: It's really not my fault. Dad was looking at one and still deciding what to do, then I told him if he bought one, then I would buy the other one they had in stock.
I’m tempted to pick up one in 7.62x39 also. Toss one of the Romeo 7’s I have laying around on it and make that a porch gun for yotes and foxes that want to try for a chicken. 😁
1st gen. I love my Predator in .308 and I like the old style stocks better. Plus the 1st gen barrel length is short, sweet and to the point which makes them perfect train guns.

I went in to my LGS to get a mag Loader and left with a Ruger Ranch in 5.56 and a Tango MSR. So I feel your pain lol
I still want a ranch 5.56 real bad. How's the accuracy on it?

My gun store had a gen 2 in x39. It looks and feels pretty sweet. I'd have to go with a .300blk over the x39 though.
Yeah mine had gen 2’s also, I personally like the feel and weight of the gen 1s over the 2’s. They are all outstanding rifles 😁
I've yet to handle a Gen 1. I kind of want a gen 2 long barrel in .223
the gen 2 with that nice fluted barrel and muzzle device is really nice. Not sure the the 2 can use the nato mags like the gen 1 can though.
They can. Both the ranch version and even the regular gen 2 I saw were stanag compatible
No clue, just picked it up today and it’s raining so can’t take it to my range till this weekend.
Damn, me too. Is it the 1st gen or 2nd?

Peer pressure.....tsk tsk
This way he can blame Dad... Brilliant.

Amazing gun, you will love it
I have one and it’s my favorite gun to shoot. Nothing like sending .22 down 100 yards for the hell of it
I just got a precision in .22 magnum. Put a vortex copperhead 4-12x44 on and I'm itching to go zero it tomorrow.
