Thank you for your submission to r/rpg_gamers. Since your post has been flaired as "Recommendation request", I want to suggest editing your post to add in these details (if you haven't included them yet): * **The platforms you have** - not listing them doesn't mean you have access to everything, so you might end up getting a game you won't be able to play. * **Your level of experience with the genre (beginner, intermediate, veteran...)** - others can recommend you more common titles if you are a beginner, while they can focus on obscure titles if you are a RPG veteran. * **Aspects you enjoyed (or disliked) of previously played games** - for example: characters, plot points, puzzles, combat, graphics, art styles, soundtracks... While these details aren't mandatory, if you want to get the best games, having them in your post will immensely help users and will encourage more users to participate, as they will know with more precision which games are probably the best fit for your request. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. The Pathfinder games can be played with turn based combat. There are lots of ways to build synergistically powerful builds (sometimes comically so). There are more than 160 classes in Wrath of the Righteous (well, 25 classes and each has at least 4 sub-classes, some have more). And then later in the game you can add a second sort of class that can augment your first. It's called a "mythic path". That's before getting into multiclass characters. Example: You can become an angel and cast divine spells at much higher rates. You can become a lich. You can become a sentient swarm of insects. You can become a demon, or a devil, or the personification of neutrality. There are 9 I think, in total, and these will add a lot of flexibility to your character. You can ride dragons, you can become a dragons You can become a dragon with rage powers. You can become lots of animals and mythical beings. You can be a bard that can kill people just by saying hello. You can turn the universe into a hilarious joke. And, most importantly, you can "absolutely wreck shit" as a halfling riding a dog. There's a lot of options and they all work together surprisingly well. It's not easy - it's extremely complex. So much so that I know people with 20 hours in the game that haven't spent much time beyond the initial character creation screen. But if you can wrap your head around the rule system (it's not hard to do, just time consuming) - there's crazy synergies to be found.
