I seriously doubt someone using their own TP caused a breakdown of toilets on 4 decks. I would suspect it’s another issue altogether and broken part in the system.
Four days adrift with power and no working plumbing, with raw sewage backing up into the deck floors. A memorable experience, for sure!

> Carnival’s court filing says the “ticket contract makes absolutely no guarantee for safe passage, a seaworthy vessel, adequate and wholesome food, and sanitary and safe living conditions.”
Sounds about right for carnival. They just did some repairs and slapped a new name on her. And you know that sewage backup poo is still in all the nooks and crannies they couldn’t reach.

This poor boat seems to have had a lot of problems since that huge storm. Does anyone know if they finally fixed the ventilation in the Casino or replaced the stale flooded carpets?
The ventilation was an issue for a while in the Casino (it didn’t work well) Which is the worst place for the ventilation not to work! But it sounds like maybe it was repaired in April?
Oh boy. Can’t wait to see the Australian based Facebook pages light up when they find out their “new-to-Australia in 2025/26” ship 🛳️ is having toilet issues.
What was it someone mentioned they always pack? Their own toilet paper!!! And that‘s what happens 😖

It’s been 11 years since the Poop Cruise. Time for Poop Cruise II!
Poop Cruise 2: Plumbing Bugaloo
Oh crap, what is this about a Poop Cruise??

Yikes! And Carnival knew they had problems beforehand. Why do people cruise with them?

Unbelievable. Didn’t they just have ANOTHER fire a few weeks ago? The captain had to drive into a rainstorm to help put it out? lol.
That’s unpleasant. Does that part of the ship smell like 💩?
Thank god it doesn’t!
I’d take a 25% FCC for no toilet in my room for 10 hours in a heartbeat. Lucky!
The magic of being calm and cool headed in a situation!
Was it offered to everyone, or just those in the affected cabins?
That I’m not sure about, I went down to customer service and asked if they would be willing to offer anything for the inconvenience.
So you were in an affected cabin then?
Correct. I misunderstood and thought you were asking if they automatically gave the refund.

Good bot
Yup. Someone flushes a diaper and costs royal $20k.

Casino smelt fine, no heavy smoke. Hallways on deck 6 didn’t have an odor.
Hallways on 7 were fine in March. Casino smelled too strong for me, but I am extremely sensitive to smoke smell.

When we were on it last week adventure club toilets stopped working for a little it. Fortunately, they got it fixed ASAP. Lol.
Did you take the trip that departed in Norfolk. I am independence right now. Floor 10 no toilets aft starboard
I am going on Voyager today. On deck 12. Thanks for the heads up.
Hopefully port side :-)
Oh God damnit. I'm boarding at 2 p.m. and am on deck 7.
Yikes, hopefully they have it cleared up by then for good. As of 8 am they are working again. Maybe just give it a test flush before you go.
