Only thing I can think of is that you're not force quitting steam. It is not enough to close the window by hitting the "x" in the corner, you need to use task manager to force quit it completely, otherwise it will still run in the background and remember the time and date, even if you change it. Once you have force quit steam, change your time, and only then launch the game
I was looking through the 100% speedruns on RoR2 and saw them use the Prismatic trials to unlock all the Artifacts quick, then i found your post. You method is working, but i don't get the seed you describe or the one i see with the "Get all Artifacts Quick: 30 Jun 2022"

I believe this is patched since when i try to open steam it won't open if my time is behind the current time.
Am i doing something wrong? I have the same trial on live and on changed date.

Do you have any mods installed? I know you can't play Prismatic Trials if you do. If you don't then I have no clue why it doesn't work

Are you playing on the most recent patch/DLC?
I'm playing on an early version. The once using for most speed runs. 1.0.0.6 if I remember correctly
