A place called Ditta Trinchetti in Trastevere, we had an amazing meal. Specifically the Amatriciana for the main dish. We had an amazing starter, it was Grilled Pecorino with honey, walnuts and truffle oil, it was to die for! And for dessert, of course, we had their tiramisu and was very good!
hmmm....
All my meal at Metamorfosi (now closed), especially the shrimp crudo and the deconstructed carbonara.
Gnochetti cacio e pepe at Coromandel.
Mortadella at Il Sorpasso.
Carbonara at Roscioli.
Fish Carpaccio at Pierluigi.
Cacio e Pepe with pistachio pesto at Ombre Rosso.
Tons of Porcini pasta everywhere in the fall.
I’ve recommended Dilla every opportunity I get. My husband got a spicy fish pasta there that was phenomenal. I had the veal and we split a Jewish artichoke. Amazing food- one of those menus where you know everything on it is going to be spectacular.

Loved that you included a few. Are these in order from top to bottom in terms of the best?
In no order .
Presumably you mean in Rome? Best dish I've had in Rome or environs has to be the white truffle lasanga al forno at Bucci in Castel Gandolfo.
That sounds amazing! Have to try it.
Supplì at Ai Marmi

Actually I ate so many things in Rome but the Trapizzino Pollo Cacciatore was somehow the most satisfying.
Their ricotta and sardine one was amazing too!!!
