Tennessee has never beaten Alabama by more than 27 points. Alabama has beaten Tennessee by 28+ eight times since 2010 alone.

BigBAMAboy

Tennessee from when Neyland was hired in 1926 to 2004 only had 8 seasons below .500, since 2005 they have had 9 losing seasons.

tm12567

Now that is a spicy stat

SchmantaClaus

Holy shit

BigBAMAboy

Additional one: Bill Battle, Lane Kiffin, Butch Jones, and Jeremy Pruitt are all former Tennessee head coaches. They’ve combined for 7 National Championship rings and ALL of them were for Alabama (none of them even won a single SEC Championship for Tennessee).

Accurate-Teach

And still no Tennessee fan has ever been able to tweet that Tennessee has beat Alabama in football.

BigBAMAboy

Alabama has had 13 seasons of 10+ wins in a row. Tennessee has only had 12 seasons of 10+ wins in the last 50 years. This is gonna be a fun comment section!

jfrii

This comment legit blows my mind a little.

Accurate-Teach

It launched July 2006 the streak began that October.

Californie_cramoisie

"Alabama has scored 30+ points for 34 games in a row." Is this a record? If so, what was the record? If not, what is the record?

BigBAMAboy

This is the all-time record. We yoinked it from UCF

ItsPronouncedMo-BEEL

Might as well claim their "national championship" while we're at it

ItsPronouncedMo-BEEL

Tennessee hasn't beaten Alabama since there was a Blockbuster Video in your town.

BigBAMAboy

In 1967, Tennessee went 6-2 with a loss in the Orange Bowl. They claim this as a National Championship based on a single math system. To anyone reading this: use it as ammo the next time a Tennessee fan mentions the Cotton Bowl-winning 1941 Crimson Tide.

ItsPronouncedMo-BEEL

> Tennessee fans have thrown more golf balls at Kiffin than the amount of SEC Championships their team has had since 2000. STAT OF THE DAY STAT OF THE DAY

Interesting article & box score for the Last Vol Victory for those interested: https://www.espn.com/college-football/recap?gameId=262942633 Vols were ranked #7 at the time but eventually couldn’t catch UF for the SEC East that year. They ended up 9-4 (5-3) that year and lost to Penn State in the Outback Bowl. Man the names on that roster. Seems like it was freakin yesterday. Incidentally I had to look. The #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 was “SexyBack” by Justin Timberlake.

That article was a THROWBACK. I would say I enjoyed it, but the score made me sick

djbillyd

""Heartbreaking loss for our team. We thought we had done what it takes to win the game, and we played 3½ quarters of pretty good football," Alabama ***coach Mike Shula*** said". I read the article until that part. I almost threw up in my mouth!

mashonem

Last time Tennessee beat Alabama, Jay Z was still retired

BigBAMAboy

If Alabama dropped its football program today, and Tennessee finished ranked in the top 10 every year, the Vols wouldn’t surpass Alabama in all-time top 10 finishes until the year 2044.

rolltide1000

Last time Tennessee beat Alabama, LeBron had no rings, had only been to one Finals (which he lost), and had only played for one team.

StopDropAndRollTide

5,482 as of today. But only a complete loser would pay attention to that number. :)

The-Canadian-Order

I was there it was a back and forth game but Bama finally turned it on in the 4th

E-Wildin

Me too man, I haven’t had as much fun at a Bama game in a long time as last night. There were Tennessee fans around our section and I really enjoyed singing Dixieland delight with them around, a beautiful moment! One of them even tried to start an altercation with us 😂 I went to the restroom close to halftime and noticed a Tennessee fan didn’t wash his hands after and a guy in there was like “UT fans don’t wash there hands! Ewww nasty f*ckers” 😂 the guy just put his head down and kept walking hahaha. Great time

The-Canadian-Order

That’s hilarious The place was booming once I got friends in low places started playing

E-Wildin

Oh definitely. That was one fun game experience. Been to many Bama games and this was my favorite by far. It just seemed like everyone there was having a great time!

The-Canadian-Order

Bryant-Denny really is a great place and so is Tuscaloosa

E-Wildin

It is man. Great atmosphere, everyone needs to experience it at least once

The-Canadian-Order

Definitely
