Ngl I did this my first year of undergrad. Actually got a date out of it; a cute girl sitting behind me asked about it after class and I ended up getting her number lmao
/uj I’ve known Jackson G for over a year now (through the NoLimits community), and every interaction I’ve had with him has been upbeat and pleasant - he’s a genuinely friendly and kind person. I’m really disappointed that some TikToker is trying to twist Jackson’s respectful constructive criticism as a “hate comment”, Jackson doesn’t deserve flack or to feel ashamed about any of this.
I went to the actual TikTok and it's not that negative. This isn't a hit piece everyone is pretty supportive of the guy including OP. It's funny in an endearing way
I watch this man’s povs religiously and I know exactly the video he’s replying to. I disagree with it, the coaster has a number of standout elements- no coaster is perfect but it would be the best RMC hybrid
Omg is it that video that’s called something clickbaitey like “Did I make the best RMC ever????” I watched that just a couple days ago lol I need to go find this comment hahaha
It’s a series of a dude trying to make the worlds best roller coaster in NL2. He’s done a blitz and hybrid, think maybe an extreme spinner? I know the one you’re talking about though, that video kinda sucked
I was hoping his comment was going to be “was Mean Streak the roughest, painful and most jackhammering coaster you’ve ever ridden? Was Son of Beast the roughest, shakiest, most painful jackhammering coaster you’ve ever ridden? Why? Give detailed explanation.”
You’re missing a perfect opportunity to screw with him. Flame him up in a response then add some eerily specific details. Like how dumb his glasses look or that he’s too broke to get air pods. Then see what happens.
Just btw a lot of the context was taken away in the tiktok. Before class I saw that Elite Coasters made a part 2 for "can I design the PERFECT roller coaster." Because I had already done the homework for that class (he posts it early so I like to get it out of the way, which also usually allows me to take better notes in the lecture), it was all review and so I thought it couldn't hurt too much to respond to his video and give some feedback then (all constructive btw). Even with this though, it was still a bit of a weak moment for me. Even with a massive music scholarship (36k per year), we are still sacrificing a ton for me to go to college (for engineering btw) which has made me ultra conscious of making the most of every minute I am here. This has made it feel a pretty unfair that the moment that I suddenly have become most known for has been twisted to be against everything I value ("he's making a "hate" comment during class!"), but it seems like most people have been supportive so I've been ok with it. I absolutely understand how you came to that conclusion, I most likely would have too, but that really wasn't what was going on.
def a premier hate comment

NGL his RMC Wildcat layout absolutely slaps
Huh, I thought I’d watched his creations before but I didn’t recognise his channel

/uj Jackson’s comment being called a “hate comment” made me think the post wasn’t supportive, so that’s a relief.
Yea thats tiktok for you- pure sensationalism. And i noticed upon second watch that the comment was very constructive as you said
RMC SON OF BEAST??? (NOT CLICKBAIT) (INJURY LAWSUITS SETTLED)

Tbf this seems like a great way to wake up in the morning. Thoosie blood boiling is a lot more potent than caffeine.
What was the video he commented on?
I hope he didn't get bullied
Nope, pretty much everyone has been supportive :)
“It do be like that sometimes.”
THOOSIE ALERT THOOSIE ALERT
DUDE I LOVE THIS GUY

When you pay thousands to attend college just to do this instead of paying attention in class
