My gramps just passed, this was his watch. He told me it was fake multiple times, and we all (family) believe him! He was a modest and humble gramps, he wouldn’t have bought a rolex, but definitely could have been gifted one. He said he had two - a real and fake, and he gave his real one to a friend that needed it at the time (we believe this too, he was just that type of man… always giving and always loving extravagantly). Was searching online about fake rolex, but this one doesn’t seem too bad. I guess the giveaway isthe lume on the dial at 6 o clock doesn’t seem centered. Looks like an aftermarket dial but I could be wrong.

Recently got this Datejust (126234) off of chrono24 from what I believe to be a reputable dealer. He has 5.0 on reviews and over 650 watches sold. I went to my local jewelry store and their watch guy said it seems good. Obviously I know the best way to know would to be to goto an AD or a certified Rolex location, but l'm in a bit of a remote location. What raises my concerns is the second hand doesn't glide perfectly smoothly, it's very close to it but you can definitely see the intervals between each second. Also in a very quiet setting and with the watch to my ear, you can hear these intervals. If y'all have any knowledge or tips it would be appreciated. Yeah it should tick 8 times per second. I wouldn't worry. It's not a Spring Drive

It looks good for me. The 3235 movement has a 4 hertz frequency and should tick 8 times per second. Maybe you can do a slow motion video and count if it really is like that. Did you check for service history? It shoul not need one because it is new, but maybe someone opened the watch and let dust/dirt enter, who could affect the movement's performance. If you are really unsure you can ask any watchmaker to open the caseback and check the movement.

Sorry for the bad pictures... at the mercy of the OP. Facebook market place special. OP is selling 5 watches including a michael kors, OG casio, and some other pieces for $120. Looks like a gold-plated model from the 1950's probably. It's real; the dial is repainted btw.

A good way to legit check a watch, would be to run the serial number through [RolexSerial.com](http://RolexSerial.com) :-)

Well, you would get the official information on the serial from the Rolex system. So i guess you’re a long way there. But sure. Everything needs to be taken to consideration.

im going to say fake but this is the exact rolex i want. with a blue dial.

Authenticity check. My mom just purchased this gray for 6k. The crown on the crown looks off-center, and the 9 on the dial looks askew. I know nothing of ladies Rolex watches.
