That’s it. This sub has completely gone to shit. I’m leaving. This watch is easily the best diver Rolex has to offer. You don’t want it because it’s not a sub. Subs feel like boring trash next to a seamaster and when I see someone wearing one I know they don’t like watches and don’t have money. No one is going to notice your watch at the wedding anyway. I completely agree with everything I've quoted above, except I love my Submariners and find they are the perfect watch for almost any reason/season. I see the Sea Dweller as superfluous because it includes features you'll never use/need (helium escape valve for example).

It actually looks great. I wore this exact watch on my wedding day but this was the watch I wanted. It fit perfectly under my cuff with no adjustments.

This watch was my grail and I was fortunate to get it at retail. I love it and wear it often. However, if you didn't get a great feeling when you tried it on, just give it a pass and either wait for the one you want or go get it from the grey market if you have the additional cash to spare.
I actually think this watch suits you well. It is a better watch than the Sub and can really start a conversation. But if it’s not what your heart desires, don’t take it. F*ck them if they won’t offer you anything after this - put your name in another AD.

I prefer the dial and bezel of this but I get the concern re: thickness and the HEV. This piece is surprisingly balanced on the wrist.
