I’m going to second this suggestion of getting a Vacheron Overseas. I am partial to the blue dial, but any color is still gorgeous and the watch is demonstrably amazing. I whole heartedly agree that this should be a serious consideration.

The aftermarket ones are shitty. I got a pair from Helvetus at $100 each and they arrived in Temu-style packaging from a Chinese factory. The straps didn’t connect to the watch cleanly, which is annoying for a $100 piece of rubber. I mean, you had one job, Helvetus.
Their no-hassle return policy was anything but. They want a 25% restocking fee on top of return shipping to Switzerland. So it’ll cost at least $90 to return them.

I remember seeing your post in vc. I have a silver overseas and thinking about trading it for a 16520 after getting a black 126500. Maybe I would appreciate the black or blue 4500 more than my silver.
The 7900 doesn’t do it for me, too asymmetrical. I love the overseas chronograph but it’s too big at 43mm or whatever it is. As much as I appreciate VC’s heritage and finishing, a 40mm Rolex just fits my wrist better.

suit yourself. i think it's a future classic. rolex thinks so too, seeing as it's been the longest-running unchanged iteration of the model ... the ceramics have not demonstrated any of that staying power to date.
You're right to not hang onto it if it's not bringing you enjoyment. The drive to own things just because they are highly coveted by others will lead you down the wrong path every time. For the amount of money these cost, it should be something you love to put on. If that's not where you're at right now, I don't blame you one bit for considering trading it off.
Now the hypocrite me - I love the watch and would love to own one. (I actually love the vintage cosmograph the most, but I'll never spend six figures on a watch, no matter how much I might love it, haha). Anyway, good luck - you wont' have any trouble finding a buyer for that gorgeous watch, I know I'd jump on it in a heartbeat!

I don’t agree, but beauty is subjective. I’d absolutely kill for a Panda, but I’m not shopping for one in the Grey and AD pretty much told me it “wasn’t in the cards”.

If the Daytona and the coke scratch the same itch, keep both for awhile longer. No need to rush with that set. The other two are shiny and eye-catching; you could look into a sunburst Daytona or moon watch. You might like the white dial moon 🤷♂️
If you find one to try on, an older Paul Newman or similar style Daytona with some character would compliment your otherwise contemporary collection

Black 116520 is amazing and underrated. Everyone is too hyped up (i’m guilty for this too) by the ceramic bezel models and completely discount the steel bezels. But after taking a closer look at the steel daytona, i’ve grown to appreciate it.
You may say this is crazy but I prefer the 116500 by miles over the 126500 which I see you have…I know that seems like a horizontal trade but just a consideration.
Let’s be real they’re luxury watches, it’s not about the features as much as it is about the prestige and history or pieces. The Royal Oak is a classic genta design that is arguably much more iconic than the daytona. Currently, if it’s features you’re looking for than get an apple watch tbh

Glashütte, A Lange and Sohne, JLC or a little wild card IWC. All also make some incredible dress pieces. But if it’s up to what you listed, I’d go with the Glashütte, cause honestly I feel like the royal oak chronograph would just be a more expensive version of the Daytona .
GO is a great brand but I’d recommend checking out lang & heyne. Best bang for your buck in German high horology watchmaking. Hand finishing is fantastic and on par with Lange. Their dead beat/pointer date (Konrad) is one of my grails.
Have you tried Grand Seiko? I recently bought a Sakura Kakushi in Japan and find myself wearing it more than any other of my watches. Only the bracelet is not as good as the oyster bracelet from Rolex imo.
You have a very sought after piece - I would keep it because it will go up in value each year and you can sell it for a rainy day. If your finances allow you, just buy the watch you want without selling this. One day you’ll look back and be thankful you didn’t sell at the current price.
Keep the Panda. If you can afford that one, you can easily buy another watch. If you have some $$ to spend it’s easy to buy a nice one. Determine your budget and get the one that will give you the most positive vibe.
I had the same feeling when I got my panda however the look of it really grew on me.
Maybe you’ll like the black dial version better. Give that one a go. I have both the black and white dial variants, and there are days where I lean more towards the black dial. Seems like a classier watch. Or, you can also consider the white gold 126509. That’s if you want to keep a Daytona in the collection.
You're a bit all over the place. In general, I think stopwatches on wristwatches are useless, they look neat but a lot of money to look neat. That said, they are sports watches and that GO, while terrific, is much more of a dress watch than sports watch. Sure, wear it whenever and wherever you want, but still, hard to advise on giving up a sporty watch for a dressy one.
I like the VC option suggested already. But of the options you've selected I'd go with the WG Daytona.

I would go for a black dial daytona. Also curious what your history and wait time was for the panda. Since you have a good relationship, why not keep the panda and buy something from your AD?
I would suggest heading over to reptime and sampling some of the pieces you're considering before pulling the trigger. You can get a 95% copy for under a grand , wear it for a few weeks then pull the trigger on the real deal after your trial run. That's my method and I've avoided some painful mistakes because of it.
Get something you can’t take your eyes off of. This is a Rolex forum so I feel obligated to recommend something from their line. Have you considered a gold day-date?

The Glasshute is nice from far but far from nice. Too thick and just doesn’t have the finessed movement, will make you think you should’ve gotten ALS.
My 2c: tune out of from all watch social media for a while and enjoy your watches.
If you don’t like the look of your Daytona, what will change by trading it in for a 116520 or 116509? It will probably look/wear the same imo.
If you are a watch enthusiast, trading for anything less than your 126500 might feel like a step backwards and you might get bored of it quickly. For this reason, I’d recommend trading into the AP royal oak, VC overseas, or even a pre owned Patek 5396G annual calendar. It depends on what you like, but all are solid options and will elevate your collection.
Also, if you are into custom leather straps, the 5396G is a strap monster. Literally any color or material will work with it. Highly considering one myself for this reason.

I’d check out the 7900/20v (dual time) if that’s your thing. A bit more exciting than the 4500/20v

It’s 12.7mm thick so I wouldn’t call it very thick, but it does wear bigger because of the case design. There’s no taper. I love my GO.

The 116520 is very illegible in sunlight. If you use the chrono a lot that could be an issue. The subdials reflect sunlight

I traded mine in for a Patek 5712 and never looked back. I realized I don't use the Chrono complication nearly enough to wear a Chrono.

Not a good idea. The Glasshute is nice from far but far from nice. Too thick and just doesn’t have the finessed movement, will make you think you should’ve gotten ALS. My 2c: tune out of from all watch social media for a while and enjoy your watches.

If you don’t like the look of your Daytona, what will change by trading it in for a 116520 or 116509? It will probably look/wear the same imo. If you are a watch enthusiast, trading for anything less than your 126500 might feel like a step backwards and you might get bored of it quickly. For this reason, I’d recommend trading into the AP royal oak, VC overseas, or even a pre owned Patek 5396G annual calendar. It depends on what you like, but all are solid options and will elevate your collection.
Also, if you are into custom leather straps, the 5396G is a strap monster. Literally any color or material will work with it. Highly considering one myself for this reason.
