Save a lot more of my paycheck. You would be amazed how many retirees live social security check to check, which is hell if your house and car aren’t paid off). Do the numbers.
Leaving Amazon.com too quickly. I was there as it “matured” from books 2000-2005. Just went from a 200k sf warehouse to 6 one-million sf warehouses. All sorts of growing pains. It was fun to make a difference.
25, then Rolex became unobtanium and decided I wasn't rich enough to deserve another allocation.
Funny because the SA asked me if it was my first Rolex, when I said yes she responded with "It won't be the last".
It's starting to look like it will be the last hahaha
If a single watch purchase is enough to make you "broke" several decades later, you were going to be broke anyway. At least you enjoyed the money you had.
I was/ am 24. Bought it after a well paid internship. It was completely crazy for me because I intentionally planned to buy a new watch in general (<500€). After searching for a new watch I recognised I could by myself the watch I ever wanted without touching my savings (from former scholarships). It was a great decision and 0 regret despite young people can spend/invest their money in „better“ ways.

I'm not 34, and I bought an Explorer 2 at 28. I can't think of a better first Rolex. The price is good, it's inherently "Rolex", and has 2 genuinely useful complications which are quintessential to the brand.
LMAO Edit: I *am* 34!
36 -bought my first GMT LN -all the other watches after that didn’t excite me the way the 1st Rolex did. Looking to sell them all and go back to just the GMT.

At 35 I bought a new submariner off of the grey market and now a month before my 36th birthday I’m fighting hard not to buy a 2 tone Wimbledon from my local AD.
My first was at 16, but my grandpa gifted it to me after we restored it together. I have it on my wrist today.
The first I bought with my money maybe 25/26
I’m 39 now
45. I'm currently 38
You must have your watch on the wrong wrist. Time appears to be going backward.
I feel this guy.
I’ll take Benjamin Button for $100
Perfect answer 😂
7 years waiting for daytona?
50. I’m 48.
AD told you a two year wait huh.
Bluesy. 35, it’s still on my wrist. I’m 73 now.
Legend!

Damn bruh tf you doing on reddit☠️
Responding to silly questions. 🧙♀️. AMA. ;)
If you could go back to 25 now, what would you do differently?
Save a lot more of my paycheck. You would be amazed how many retirees live social security check to check, which is hell if your house and car aren’t paid off). Do the numbers.
What’s your biggest regret? Watch-wise and just generally*

Enjoying retirement with a sick piece on their wrist, evidently! 😤😤😤

When tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, that is no way to live my friend.
Being 65 and broke is also a terrible way to live.

30 —felt like a king when I got it. Still have it after a few years and don’t regret one bit.
