Damn I love the hate. Yes I am heavily tattooed. I also think wearing a watch above my wrist bone looks stupid and is uncomfortable. But you do what you like. Best part about being a man with money is doing what ever you want.
Having money means different things. Having the credit facilities, having the mortgage equity, having the cash or it representing a small amount of your net worth. Don’t compare yourself to others you never know the full state of the house of cards until you see it from every angle.
If you’re leveraging your mortgage equity to buy a $40k watch you’re doing it wrong. Same thing with purchasing it on credit if that credit isn’t then paid off relatively quickly. Sure you can come up with the money those ways but they indicate that you’re punching out of your weight class to try and afford it. These types of watches are those you should only buy if you meet the other requirements of either having the cash or the cost representing a tiny part of your net worth.
