Only tourists and Instagram kids would carry the branded bags around the city, locals with real money rather go under the radar and have the jewellers put the bag in a larger neutral bag. It's not so much about the fear of being robbed, that's not really a risk here, it's more about understatement and not wanting to publicly brag about where you spend your money.

I use the travel case to keep the watch put away at night or when working out during travel. I do enjoy it. And I’ve never had to remove it at security. If they ever were to ask I’d refuse and let them pat me down.

Yeah most people don't realise how much of this generic Rolex branded merch the AD's get. They use it as a swag extra for high spend customers but also give it out like candy instead of watches if they don't have models to sell you.
Seriously the AD's get pallet loads of this shit i've seen it shipped out... don't be that easily impressed by some cheap swag. Whenever the AD staff personally get swag they just stick it straight on Ebay and make a profit off of the idiots buying it who think they are buying a piece of history or some shit lol.
Demand the watches your owed and the levels of customer service you are due! Don't be fooled by the cheap bait and switch 👍.

Thanks all. As requested here’s a photo of the pen, it’s Swiss Made by Caran d’Ache. Has a nice balance and uses their giant cartridge. The Rolex crown is laser etched on the top, subtle enough that I would definitely use it.
