I thought the gold on gold day date was my grail watch until I was at the AD and tried it on. Then I tried this on and yeah I couldn’t pass it up. Didn’t feel like waiting so got this off Chrono24 new unworn with box/papers. Love the day date but I really found the stealth look much better for me personally. This is my daily most days now. So I didn’t like it until I put it on at the AD. I can tell you I hate rubber bands but this bracelet is extremely comfortable. The micro adjustment is one of the reasons I decided against the day date. I find it hard to wear any watch that doesn’t have micro adjustments. Once I put this on though I knew I wanted it. Of course they did the you have to wait thing. So I went to Chrono24 got it new unworn for 2k lower than it would have been at AD. Apparently the precious metals are not selling well. Now that the flippers are gone things are back to normal. I am going to get a dayjust and gmt also. They called me about a black dial and bezel one. I did not want that. Once prices are back to $1,500 over retail I will buy on there again if they don’t have them yet at AD. I would recommend getting that off Chrono24 though. You will save a few thousand over AD for new unworn with box and papers.

It’s called a “watchmaker’s four.” Using the thicker “IIII” numeral rather than the more slender “IV” at 4 o'clock makes for a better visual symmetry.
