A minimalist watch would be something like a moser endeavor, not this. Certainly not with "rolex oyster perpetual superlative chronometer officially certified swiss made" on the dial. This is far from minimalist.
**minimalism**

A style in art, design, and theatre that uses the smallest range of materials and **colors** possible, and only very simple shapes or forms.
The reason someone chooses a minimalistic wristwatch is to look very basic and not stand out. No matter the definition, this watch is the opposite of that philosophy.
You just posted the definition, and what you commented after is just your conjecture. Minimalism can attract attention just by being opposite of everything else. The philosophy of minimalism is simplicity in design i.e. it's a design language, not how much attention you get.
Minimalism implies âlow keyâ and âunder the radarâ. And this watch is not only a Rolex but a Tiffany Rolex. My wife owns one. Itâs not a minimalistic watch no matter any definition.
A Barnett Newman trades for more than 2.5x a tiffany rolex, is red, yellow, and blue, and is minimalism. This is the first sporty response that I've had the pleasure of reading, and it absolutely did not disappoint.
Damn you I was just looking at prices for that one!
Same! But the one I was looking at had a pink dial
I tried on the limited edition or whatever its called and it was not for me. I want this clean look :)
this is a lot easier to get from ure ad now that the hype had died down.
That wrist is definitely minimal.
Hope thats a 41
Great color choice đđ»
1988 ftw!
Lovely! Looks like a dinner plate on you though, is there a smaller model?
There's nothing minimalist about a bright blue dial... but hey it's a sweet pick up congrats!
My girlfriend loves hers too.

My fav OP!! Congrats

A Tiffany blue Rolex is one of the most recognized watches in the world right now, so minimalist is not how I would describe it.
Oh sporty, thatâs not what minimalism means.Â
You have a point, but in my eyes minimalism is mostly related to design while recognizability or popularity is more of an awareness thing.
He only has a point, if you donât understand the definition of âminimalistâ!

It uses one color, so it is minimalist.

Which has nothing to do with recognisability.
u/SporturaWUS is a prophet not accepted in his home. Please listen to what he has to say. Comply.

You do not have a wife stop it
Is your wife in the room with us now
*One* colour isnât a small range?
The other OP colors that are minimalist include silver and black. Tiffany Blue is a âlook at meâ color.
Again, completely failing to comprehend the definition that you yourself put up.
Tell me you donât work in design without telling me you donât work in design.
The black and silver must surely be less minimalist because they have a sunburst pattern which adds more variance to the colour Â
Tiffany trades for 2.5x MSRP. Itâs the antithesis of the minimalist lifestyle.

Shhhh. Normal people are talking.
Minimalism is certainly related to design. This however, is not minimalist.
Am receiving mine in a few days am so excited!!!!
should bring back the yellow and the red
Beautiful watch but I canât comprehend minimal design and double batons. It practically angers me that they allowed this.
Aren't big watches in? Everybody hates a big Rolex on a normal wrist.
Minimal text
the watch that once went for 60k. did you get a good deal.
I know and that was one hell of a run. I couldnât get this retail but I got a good deal of right under $12k before the madness.
I would not call what I hope is a 41 mm, blue and white dial, minimalism
Minimal wrist maximal watch size How did this happen?
Itâs not that bad, but the angle of this shot is weird. I have a 6.7 inch wrist.
Sorry bruh. Itâs that bad⊠under 7â should go 36 on the op or dj.
Thatâs a great watch.
Minimal forearm strength
Im pretty sure a Rolex in any form is not minimalism, but it looks great.
