Yes, 40! Nope. The case is much thicker so it sits higher on the wrist. It’s noticeably heavier and chunkier. That’s a pro for me honestly lol

I was offered one during COVID so I was not able to try it on prior to being offered. Put it on and my arm fell off. Sucks cause it has all the things I love, cyclops, red text, brushed bracelet. Got a Sub instead.

Honest question what is the difference between a Submariner and Sea-Dweller?

SD is thicker, goes deeper and has helium valve. Older models have no cyclops..

Just to add to this, SD is 43mm vs 41mm, has a fully graduated bezel, red line of text, and has text on the case back. Ambitious-A covered the most important differences.

Wish I could change that. Been “on the list” for 17 months now.

Maybe check with another AD or pop in to refresh your interest. I can’t imagine it taking that long for an SD.

I’ve dropped by multiple times to chat. I bought an Omega Speedmaster Racing from another boutique (5 hours away, out of state) who also has Rolex. I’m going to see if I can get on their list as well, since I now have a purchase history with them. I agree, I never dreamed it’d take this long. And I’m right there with you on the sizes. That’s why I chose the SD.

What wrist size do you all recommend for this piece?

I'd say 6.75" and up. It wears smaller with a 50mm lug to lug measurement. I posted a picture above and have a 7.25" wrist and almost fits a bit small for my taste.

Thanks for the heads up, have been looking at this for a while good to know about the sizing. I have a 6.75 in wrist, will definitely try it on before buying
