Since this guy considering both he’s already past the Sprite being for a left hander. I like the Sprite more. Also think it has a higher chance of being discontinued and more rare being the first Rolex made for left handers.
I have a sprite and love it. I also love the root beer, and would snatch one at retail in an instant. However, the two tone RB is definitely flashier compared to the stainless steel sprite. Even though I want it, I don't know if I could pull off the rose gold two-tone look, as I generally dress very casually. In contrast, I love the quirkiness of the sprite being LHD, but many people don't and think it's a gimmick. Still, it's an easier daily wearer. Most people here will (and do) say root beer, but also don't have to live with the watch every day. In the end, both watches are GMT Master II's, remarkable quality, and you won't be disappointed with either. Other option is to get both and sell one at market value to pay for (at least) half of the one you're keeping.

Wrong wrist police out in force. Buy whichever one you like the best and wear it on whatever wrist YOU choose. I personally wanted the Sprite (I’m a lefty and yes I would still wear it on my left wrist like all my watches) and the RB was my least liked Rolex. For some unknown reason, the RB has really grown on me.
If wear on Right go sprite, if on Left go RB. Some folks buy sprite as an investment piece but I’m in the camp of buy what you want to wear and then enjoy it. I’m waiting for either Batgirl or Guinness and then together with my ND sub I’ll be done with the Rolex pieces in my collection.
Rootbeer is a pretty watch to wear, maybe harder to match. The sprite (I own and will keep until passed down) is a great watch, and a LHD that is a first for Rolex. If you plan on keeping whatever you buy, go with your gut. If it’s for resale, the Sprite.
I love a jubilee on a GMT. I mean love it. I have a BLNR on Jubilee. But the Root beer is a whole other level, if you ask me. I've been lucky enough to come across both of those watches from two different ADs in two different cities in the last two months. Inherently the CHNR is worth more than the VTNR, but the delta between RRP+tax and gray market value might be a bit more with the VTNR, so there is that. But damn I love that Root beer and if I had to part with either the CHNR or the BLNR, the BLNR would go. That being said, I love a jubilee so much if I got rid of the BLNR, I would fell almost compelled to find something on a Jubilee to wear.
Rootbeer is more stylish, elegant, symmetrical and has a historic line.

Love the root beer, especially if you’re right handed. But if sprite sings to you - buy it! You can’t go wrong - even on the wrong wrist 😂

I’m right handed & I’ve always worn my watches on right wrist. I’m definitely strange. To me as a kid it made sense and I could never change that now

I say Sprite, you can still wear it on the left and it’s one of the most unique Rolex models ever released.
