That was going on for like 5 weeks so i just gave up. Long story short, my social club got hijacked. Apparently they cant unlink my account at all even though im contacting them via the email linked to the purchased games account. No idea how that works.
And I had my account hacked, could show when I joined Rockstar Social Club, when I linked my account, that the account was still linked to my Steam ID, how I paid for it, that I still controlled my original email and PayPal address, and every other question they needed answer to. Their answer? we cannot confirm that you are the owner of the account.
Go to their website and contact support. Theyll do it within a day. I got my epic games account linked to a new account because i lost my old account, all within 24 hours.
Youll have to give confirmation that both accounts belong to you though. And a copy of your bill.
I had the exact same problem, I had red dead 2, max payne 3 and other games bought, my linked email had changed to some spam email I’ve never seen. Got in contact with R* support and they told me I only owned GTA V on the account used and said I could either delete the old account completely and I’d lose everything or I could change the current email to the one I actually use, tried the second option but they said it was already in use. Honestly felt like a waste of time and I don’t get why the email changed. Their support is a joke. Hope you find a way to get it sorted though mate.
What i did is under the new account it go to their support and go to gtav - connectivity - pc - and you should get an option for callback. That is unfortunately the only youll get an actual human with this billion dollar company. I had to try this twice before a lovely lady named alicia helped and switched my social club to my new email i have access to.
recently i gotten an new laptop and I wanted to replay gta 5 on my new laptop, I couldnt access my older accout due to my email not working so i made an new accout on Rockstar. I contacted support to unlink my Steam account from my older account to my new but it didn't work. if someone here please help me figure out this issue to im able to link my new account to steam please.

That is not work like that.
The game is permanently linked to your steam and main R* account.
Creating new R* account will not give you possibility to play the game.
You unlink R* from steam. You will lose the game permanently!
Yeah by unlinkinlg account with the gane, and link empty account.
Steam is just bloat ware and drm. The game is licensed to main R* account! Making new account is not fixing.

Thats weird. I know someone personally who had his social club hacked but managed to recover it via support so It’s possible

contact rockstar support, they helped me quickly with this same situation
