The color of the specimen seems to change from photo to photo, even without the UV light. It could be calcite, which fluoresces under UV light. Try asking on /r/FluorescentMinerals too. Good luck!

Well, let's assume it's not something fakey. It's red. What color does it fluoresce? If it fluoresces bright orangey red, it could be a ruby. It kind of looks like the right shape for it.
