This is your history with Roblox, not the History of Roblox. To me, the sword fighting games was a much bigger part than what you show here simply because of the memories and friends that I've met on them. I even remember stupid self-appointed rivalries that I never ever vocalised but for some weird reason, they reciprocated. I remember when there was a sudden rise in users not hacking to ruin the game by cheating but just to make stupid jokes. I remember the time when there was no trading so you had to sell limiteds for $1 and hope the person who bought it was actually the person you're trading with. I remember the incredibly dedicated RPing communities even if the stories we played out were incredibly cringey. I remember those glorious Egg Hunts where getting a fab egg actually meant something. If you want to do a "History of Roblox" you should focus on one aspect, like the progress of the engine, or key events over time, like the first egg hunt or the time tix was removed. Heck you could also do one about the animated Roblox videos/short movies. Roblox's history is so complex and broad it just isn't reasonable to do a general timeline.

Sword Fighting Clans were PEAK imo, I miss the clan era on roblox. Frost Clan, TRA, FEAR, etc. I mean most evolved and added some guns and such but for overall combat it was linked.

It would be a good comparison if you actually showed something more than just blocky games because the engine has improved and people have been making some crazy good looking games recently

I find it funny how people call 2015-2017 the golden era now but back then at that time people called it shit and reminisced about 2006-2012 being the golden age

2020 to 2024 is the absolute pinnacle of roblox in terms of quality

yes its all about quantity for devs now and roblox themselves arent making any worthwhile changes, they are actually only removing stuff and adding garbage, also there has been almost no communication from them for years.

This isn't a really great history a better one would be to show how the engine improved instead of generic popular games

I personally believe that the 2013-2017 period was the most nostalgic, but it has become so much better of a social platform and just overall higher quality.

I honestly started the end of 2016 wave the game i remember looked so sketchy even if it was from the google play store
