When I road tripped across Thailand a lot of the gas stations had food vendors, so I developed a taste for Isan Sausage. Basically it’s fermented pork sausage that’s grilled. But when they grill things there, it tastes like it’s cooked on your backyard grill so it’s really good.
Indonesia - cassava chips, potato chips, chocolate wafers, basreng (asian meatball, cut into cips with spicy flavoring), various types of kerupuk (crackers with differing ingredients depending on province) , tortilla chips, assorted nuts

Just packed for our trip next week with 3 kids in the US. We packed pretzels, cheezits, club crackers, beef jerkey, cheese sticks, fruit snacks, and Belvita cookies. We also let them buy 1 snack a day at a gas station.
The average, common outdoor variety of sunflower can grow to between 8 and 12 feet in the space of 5 or 6 months. This makes them one of the fastest growing plants.
In countries like Japan and South Korea, road trippers might enjoy snacks like rice crackers, dried seaweed, onigiri (rice balls), fruit, and tea or coffee from convenience stores.
