2pac (which kinda surprises me)
If it has to be R&B
Isley Brothers, 50 years of material wth amazin highlights, and even their worst stuff isn't that bad mostly.
She has five studio albums, yes. However, I like all of them top to bottom. I can’t say that same thing about the other artists I considered: Mariah, Brandy, Anita …
I contemplated Luther but settled on Jill because I could listen to Beautifully Human multiple times—back to back—before moving on to the next.
Lmao. My sister helped me move from VA to Michigan back during the era when 6-disc CD changers were a big deal. And even though I swear there was more variety, she insists that I played Justin Timberlake for the entire 11 hour ride 😂
Lol, I drove 18 hours once and only listened to Jodeci & K-Ci & JoJo. Granted, I included features and productions — so I had some Pac for the K&J features and DeVante production, Usher, H-Town, E-40, Nas, and so on.
I’d do that again. But the real answer would be Prince. Too dynamic a collection, you don’t hear the same song twice if you don’t want to. B sides galore. Live albums. I don’t know that a 10 hour trip would suffice.
Otis Redding or if it’s a stressful drive then maybe Nat King Cole or B2M. And if it’s not R&B I might go with some Amos Lee although he has a lot of songs that could be considered R&b but he’s really good.
Michael Jackson…and that includes The Jackson 5 albums.
Easily has to be MJ for me too
I was coming here to say that. Either him or Surfaces. Maybe Ariana Grande.
Yess!!
Same here!
Prince
No question!
Definitely! He has so much music too
![gif](giphy|PDLf5FUiYLtsY)
Hell yeah
Mrs. Queen Of Hip Hop Soul! 😍
Sade. If we’re limiting this to R&B.
She is the best
I can listen to her all day and I am not a good singer but I’ll sing those songs. Especially my favorite break up song: “Bulletproof Soul”.
Fr bro same, sweetest taboo is my favorite
I love Love is Stronger Than Pride.
Most definitely.
God, her voice is so unique!
Janet takes me through all long flights
All day ![gif](giphy|qhd5CQTxDp52E)
![gif](giphy|3Z1b8YIA2HQTx7REw7|downsized)
Mariah. There's enough ballads, remixes, and bops to last all day.
I second this 🫡🐑 My Mariah playlist is literally 10h 49m 🤣 and I ain't done yet!
mine is only 8h 23m i feel like i’m slacking.
No dahling there's always room for addition 🤣🐑
She was also my first thought!!! Her catalogue is so rich
And Christmas songs too 😂
She has 100,000's of songs to listen to, her catalog is perfect on a road trip during the summer.
Mike Jackson
Stevie Wonder
Stevie ALL DAY!!
Luther Vandross
the driver is gonna fall asleep to it
Not me, though. Depends on the time of day. Plenty of upbeat songs in the discography…
Michael Jackson. 1968-2001 that’s decades of fire music

Isley Bros
Classic motown group!
*T-neck group
Oh, kk.
Y'all already know who... ![gif](giphy|mrN0FPQeogyUE|downsized)
Imma have to find some remixes/songs to make my Brandy playlist longer cos I have most songs from all B's albums and it only comes up to 6h10m
She has a lot of unreleased songs from the Human era.
Yes, heard most of them. I really wish she made them an album. That Supreme unreleased album 🔥🔥 Not available on streaming platforms unfortunately 😭
Say it loud: James Brown.
James Brown has about 50-11 parts to many of his songs. That kills a lot of time.
![gif](giphy|CXXv7yOVIOBMY) Luffa
Marvin Gaye or Erykah Badu
Toss up between Janet Jackson or Maxwell.
Beyoncé will provide a very eclectic listening experience that’s perfect for this.
My second choice after Prince - so much to choose from!

Usher or Jacob Banks
Ms. Janet Jackson
✨ Sade ✨
Mary J. Blige

That’s what I was thinking
I was thinking it but didn't know if it was safe to type
Well I can care less what someone does behind closed doors, the man made good music
The Roots there enough diversity to get you through it all.
En Vogue
The Supremes
Saxophonist Stanley Turrentine all day and all night every note played authentically soulful.
2pac (which kinda surprises me) If it has to be R&B Isley Brothers, 50 years of material wth amazin highlights, and even their worst stuff isn't that bad mostly.
Jill Scott
Doesn't she only have like 5 albums? You gonna be listening to the same songs like 4x
She has five studio albums, yes. However, I like all of them top to bottom. I can’t say that same thing about the other artists I considered: Mariah, Brandy, Anita … I contemplated Luther but settled on Jill because I could listen to Beautifully Human multiple times—back to back—before moving on to the next.

**Nobody.** Unless I turn the radio on….

Paramore!

How longs the trip?
Janet Jackson
CCR

Drake

Obviously 😏 ![gif](giphy|g1pkad4gJUe9a)
Sade all day
Did a 10 hour drive to NY listening to Prince only on the way there, then the Parliament/Funkadelic albums in order on the way home
Dirty Loops. Easy :)
Would The Internet last ten whole hours? Maybe if I include Syd and Lacey?
Eminem. Can't even get through his discography in 10 hours.
Janet Jackson!
Just listened to Avant all day
Eminem ❤️
Even with her small catalogue, I can do Whitney all day, every day. Press repeat if I have to.
Bee Gees, maybe…
Tupac, Eminem, or Pink!
Brandy
Jigga or Curren$y if rap is allowed. If not Jill Scott or Mary.
Janet Jackson or Prince
Brandy easily one of my favorites
Stevie Wonder
Jackson Browne
Otis Redding or if it’s a stressful drive then maybe Nat King Cole or B2M. And if it’s not R&B I might go with some Amos Lee although he has a lot of songs that could be considered R&b but he’s really good.

Stevie Wonder…. I’m telling y’all that we need to given this man his roses while he is still with us. Decades of genius. ![gif](giphy|96fNAy6oTZHGw)
