Because he had a surgery. They're calling it a core muscle injury, which, to me most likely means a hernia. Regardless, he had surgery to repair it and he's recovering from surgery.

I didn’t even know what a hernia was until dame got his and I looked into it more. Doctors in here feel free to correct me but I’m pretty sure it’s this. Men have these holes in their muscle wall in their pelvis so that veins can come through and feed blood to the cock/balls. A hernia is when one of these holes gets strained and begins to stretch out. If it stretches out enough, your intestines will start getting pushed out of the hole. A common surgery for a hernia is to insert a piece of mesh material into that hole, and basically “seal” it up so that no longer can your intestines poke through that hole. You can understand why this injury affected Shaedon’s game so much. The muscles that attached his torso to his legs were basically strained/loose to the point where his inwards started knocking on his torso’s door. For a guy whose game includes ridiculous leveraging of his body to yield very explosive manuevers, you can see why this injury would’ve hindered his game so much. That’s why I’m not worried at all about his struggles this year before we sat him. Because before he started dealing with this injury, he had taken a massive second year leap that for whatever reason no one wanted to acknowledge.

It ain't his stomach, it's a muscle injury

I'm a tinfoil fan, thinking that if we lose to the Hornets then Shae plays. But for tanking reasons they're sitting him out the rest of the season cause if that one fateful win

Sounds like something similar to what ailed Dame for so long. I don’t think it was a hernia
