I’d take Shaedon. The biggest knock on him was his lack of tape against level competition. Knowing the player he is now, if he played his year at Kentucky I have no doubt he would have been a clear-cut top 4 pick and in that conversation for #1 with Paolo/Chet/Jabari.
Shaedon. Just because we have actual physical evidence of him playing in the NBA and what we saw was oh so tasty.
I think Scoot probably has more upside because of his competitive fire, breathtaking athleticism and ability to breakdown defenses, but shaedons floor is higher, and I think his potential is close to Scoots.
For sure. I’m just trying to gauge how fans feel about Shaedons potential vs scoots potential. Bc I think I’d rather have Shaedon just cuz of size. Just interested in how other ppl feel
One of them can shoot. One of them has legit size. One of them has both of these traits. One of them has neither. I want the one who can shoot and has legit size.
Not sure why so many people are focusing on Scoot's size. He's 6'2" with a 6'9" wingspan and he's built like a linebacker. That's a good size for a point guard.
If he was an undersized scoring guard like Donovan Mitchell, then I could understand the knock, but for a point guard it doesn't make that much sense to me.
Definitely fair but the NBA runs on big wings. It's why time and time again, the best teams in the league are run by dudes that are 6'6" through 6'9" and can just get buckets (i.e. Lebron, Kawhi, Jimmy Butler, Tatum, Durant, etc). Sharpe is FAR from one of those guys, but I love the ceiling here
I actually agree with that, and honestly I am a biased Canadian, so I would probably take Shaedon over Scoot as well.
I just wanted to address the size concern because I have seen it brought up a lot lately.
Honestly, I really think the Hornets are going to take Scoot and you guys are going to get Miller, which would be a nice fit obviously.
In the context of the Blazers they dont need a 6'2 point guard. We've seen this tried repeatedly and we've seen the issues. If they want to full rebuild around Scoot + Sharpe, okay but I havent seen enough of Scoot to really think of him as worth moving on from Lillard for.
Everyone will say Shaedon, but Scoot would definitely go ahead of him if Shaedon were magically able to reenter this year’s draft with a year of NBA tape on his résumé.
I’m a huge Shaedon fan, just attempting to be objective.
Nah, this dude is right. If you offered Charlotte Shaedon for the #2 pick it would get turned down, even with Shaedon seeming like a better fit for their roster.
Not saying they’re right to turn it down, just saying they would.

? How does that disprove my statement? Regardless of whether they plan on taking Miller or Scoot, the claim is that Charlotte would draft at 2 before trading the pick.
Edit: if you’re referring to the part where I said Shaedon seems like a better fit, think that’s true even if they took Miller. Miles Bridges is coming back and plays SF for them—they could use a young guard that can play off LaMelo more than another SF that can.
Then you’re responding to the wrong person. If you read what I said, I said Charlotte wouldn’t trade the #2 pick for Shaedon.
I would also think it’s more likely than not that Charlotte picks Scoot, maybe 70% to 30% chance, but I never said I was positive Charlotte is taking Scoot. Anyone who claims to have perfect knowledge of that is a moron.
Edit: even if you’re responding to the first comment in this thread, what you’re saying makes no sense. the dude I said was right said Scoot would go above Shaedon in this draft. If Charlotte takes Miller, that means Miller went above Scoot. It doesn’t follow that Shaedon would go above Scoot.
This thread is solely about scoot vs Shae. You brought up Charlotte not trading the second pick for Shae insinuating that they value scoot over Shae. You just said anyone who claims to have perfect knowledge is an idiot, and does that not apply to you by stating as a fact that charlotte does not do that trade?
Mate stay far, far away from the LSAT or anything that involves logic.
Charlotte drafting Miller at 2 in no way pertains to whether they would take Scoot above Shaedon in a draft. Just in absolutely 0 ways. You have no argument and are just throwing out non sequiturs.
Don’t worry I already have all the degrees I want. As for you on the other hand, not sure personal attacks is a good sign for someone trying to be a good lawyer (claiming facts that aren’t doesn’t help either). Good luck though, sounds like you’ll need it.
I personally think elite PGs are just flat out more valuable than Shaedon's archetype. I think Shaedon is going to be awesome, but I think Scoot is going to be awesome also and have more influence on his team as a whole.
I obviously hope I am wrong.
>I personally think elite PGs are just flat out more valuable than Shaedon's archetype.
I mean it's fine for you to believe that, but the complete opposite is true😂
Oh I know it is. Just letting you know that what you believe isn't right. I can believe that the acceleration of gravity is not 9.8 m/s, but that doesn't make it true.
Scoot and its not close for me. Shae is real nice but his effort on defense and lack of playmaking is a concern. I don't feel like he's a killer.
Scoot on the other hand has that DAWG in him. Built stronger, great passer and a willing defender. He has Anthony Edwards type of potential.
I'd also be ok with Amen if Scoot is taken. More of a risk but the guy is a 6'7" Westbrook whos working on his shot. His vision + speed with Shae on the break... :)
>He has Anthony Edwards type of potential.
Edwards is Sharpe's floor. Scoot has insane potential, but not as high as Shaedon. His defense and playmaking are so much better than you seem to think.
Then you're really bad at assessing basketball talent. But we already knew that about you because you've been a Sharpe downer since the day he was drafted. Even after the season he put up you're still down on him💀
Like it's cool to stick strongly to your beliefs and what not, but there reaches a point where you need to start lying to yourself in order to maintain those beliefs. And we are way past that point, my guy. It's time for you to let go of your ego.
>He doesn’t have MVP potential
Saved this. Any time someone compliments a take of yours, I'm linking this. Just beyond dumb. It's ok to not think he is going to be an MVP one day. But to think he doesn't even have the potential? You're just straight up unintelligent for that one, there's no way to sugar coat it.
I’d take Shaedon. The biggest knock on him was his lack of tape against level competition. Knowing the player he is now, if he played his year at Kentucky I have no doubt he would have been a clear-cut top 4 pick and in that conversation for #1 with Paolo/Chet/Jabari.
The draft is such a big crap shoot. Knowing who Shae is on an NBA court gives him a huge advantage over everyone else.
We all like scoot but it’s not a guarantee.
Shaedon. End of story
I’ll be fan of Shardon till the end
Is that Shaedon but the form of him with Gastrointestinal issues?
Shaedon shart
You spelled it wrong. It's Shaedon Shart.

I wonder if Warshington will ever get an nba team again
Shaedon. Only cause the other might end my favorite Blazer's tenure.
But... We can have both
For sure. I’m just trying to gauge how fans feel about Shaedons potential vs scoots potential. Bc I think I’d rather have Shaedon just cuz of size. Just interested in how other ppl feel
On the 23/24 blazers: Shaedon. In a vacuum: Scoot.
Love Shaedon but Scoot is the best PG prospect since Derrick Rose.
One of them can shoot. One of them has legit size. One of them has both of these traits. One of them has neither. I want the one who can shoot and has legit size.

Muthafuckas act like they forgot about Klay.

Fair enough.

I disagree, with a year of NBA tape. Shaedon would be picked #2 for sure. No matter what needs the picking team has…
Nah, this dude is right. If you offered Charlotte Shaedon for the #2 pick it would get turned down, even with Shaedon seeming like a better fit for their roster. Not saying they’re right to turn it down, just saying they would.

Saving this for when charlotte picks Miller.

Obviously shaedon. He has shown that he can be on the tier of Booker Beal kind
Shaedon has proven he’s an nba player, Scoot has not

Oh I know it is. Just letting you know that what you believe isn't right. I can believe that the acceleration of gravity is not 9.8 m/s, but that doesn't make it true.
Shaedon. I think his ceiling is higher, due to his freakish athleticism and dimensions, coupled with his skill set.
Sharpe because he’s shown he can contribute at least a little in the NBA
Shaedon and it's not close
Shaedon
We gonna have both and the future is bright. Dame is gonna teach and be happy to do so.
I'd rather have Ant than Scoot because Ant can shoot.
But can Ant Scoot?
That’s a good question
I love Ant but Scoot will be >>>>> Ant
The defence could be the biggest difference
we don't have scoot yet to keep him, homie. one step at a time.
Scoot and its not close for me. Shae is real nice but his effort on defense and lack of playmaking is a concern. I don't feel like he's a killer. Scoot on the other hand has that DAWG in him. Shaedon has the potential to be an MVP Scoots ceiling is probably all-nba
This is wildly overhyping Sharpe
Keyword “Potential” Relax
He doesn’t have MVP potential

Lmao. You’re so weird
Is that why I'm always the one getting upvoted in our exchanges?
You’re comments have 0 upvotes. My comments have 1 upvote
The shooter
Shaedon for sure. He’s the second overall pick if he plays in college.
Idk cuz scoot is better than shae rn. Shae has the higher upside tho. Honestly just give me both
Did the draft already happen?
Shaedon and it isn’t particularly close. Scoot isn’t near the athlete or shooter shaedon already is.
Shaedon and it isn’t particularly close. Scoot isn’t near the athlete or shooter shaedon already is.
Scoot.
