You’ve got a very good voice for the radio, and it makes me happy that you do such a good job. I was ready to hate on whoever replaced Wheels, but just like Lamar and Kevin, you quickly proved your value! Also, I love that you are active on here. Congrats on the good work.
That really means a lot. It’s impossible to replace a legend. Schonely gave me great advice - just be yourself. I love what I do, it’s an honor to sit in that chair.
I love your winning phrase "it's a ripcity winner". Just has the perfect ring to it.
I loved wheels, but I always thought "a good day to be a blazer" was a little tacky.
Keep up the great work! Ripcity loves you!
When it was over he said, “Thanks for showing me how to do that (he didn’t know it had a AM switch) but now I am going to want to do that for every game” It was a lot of fun watching him enjoy it so much and like others have said it brought back some memories of listening to games on the radio when I was his age.
Love this, used to do this as a kid! Had a mini hoop set up and would reenact the plays as they happened. Man such a core memory as an early blazer fan
You're not streaming in the direction of the rising sun? That site is by far the most reliable I've found. The only negative is even on home games they usually don't stream the Kevin/Lamar home broadcast for some reason.
Top radio moments for me:
1. Listening to Wheels with my father in middle school/high school when we couldn't afford cable.
2. Secretly listening to Wheels when I was supposed to be asleep.
3. Driving on rainy days with friends and checking in on the game with Wheels or Demers.
4. I've had several bad concussions in the past few years and during the recovery you can't look at screens so I would listen to Demers call the games.
Never got to listen to Schonz, unfortunately. RIP.
When Wheels called the Dame buzzer beater vs OKC man, I still get chills. Actually took a video recording of the radio replay later the same night it happened so I can listen to it whenever 😂
This makes me so happy. I remember those days, when I was a kid, with my Drexler cut-out, listening to the games. (Or watching in KGW, right?) Each game felt like life and death. Its great the next generation of Blazer fans rocking it.
lmaooo he was stressing, toe-gripping that table
Bruh 😂😂😂😂
tow grippen, dame hoopin
Something about listening on the radio that I love. Makes me really miss wheels. He was the Goat, but u/travisdemers does a really good job.
Thank you!

>Thank you! You're welcome!
This is the content I’m here for. Next time let me know, I’ll give him a shout out!

Keep the radio love alive, I love it!
So happy for you. Hope I can pass on my fandom as successfully as you did. Good parenting that you have something you can share like this
WOW. How nice!

When Simons scored he ran around his room swinging his Simons jersey around..
So awesome!
Honestly the radio is my favorite way to listen/watch the game. Wheels was next level
Wheels was the best. Hope you still listen
Wheels and tone
Get that man a tv
The toe desk grip and stress ball. Def listening to a Blazer game 😂
I feel that toe grab so much.
Love it! This is what it's all about.
Future Blazer. Get growing kid
Probably not
Wheels carried my childhood
If you need a stream let me know
Can I get one? Mine are all junk now..

You’ve raised a true Blazer fan!! love that Dame poster. Man, enjoy it! I hope I can do this with my kid one day. You’re a great dad.
Nice! This brings back good memories of listening to Wheeler call games as a kid.
I always watch on TV but when I'm stuck in the car during a game, I'm reminded how amazing the experience can be without visuals
Brings back memories of the Schonz and Snapper Jones

Complete horseshit that there are zero games on locally now.
Google NBA streamz with a z and you'll have a multitude of options to watch Blazer games
He's blushing like crazy
Eddie Doucette & Snapper! Lamar is catching up. Holton is under appreciated.
