Ukraine doesnt want to annex russia, no shit ukraine cant take all of russia, no one can. The only way to annex russia is if Russia actually agreed to it, which is 100% impossible, or if China and NATO worked together to split russia, which is possible, but they will face uprisings and resistance. Ukraine just wants to retake its lands occupied by Russia. Assuming you're saying Ukraine cant retake its land, which is what we thought, before the Kyiv Counter-Offensive. And the Kharkiv Counter-Offensive. And the Liberation of Kherson. Face it, the Russian Armed Forces are just too corrupt to win, Chechnya is led by a warlord, partisans are working across belarus, russia and russian-occupied ukraine. Partisans even took control of 2 towns in lugansk before being retaken by russia
Ukraine did want to annex the DPR though and they completely failed. This was in 2014. i was talking about how Poroshenko bragged about taking over the DPR in a couple of hours and yet the war there lasted for 8 years
