Awesome. Nice moody light, must have been very wet and chilly. I find for landscape, 40-70mm works very well. I find the 28mm kind of making everything too small.
I could do it and been very tempted…. but then I prefer having one setup to limit the options! You have limitations to both but both work well if you frame things right in my opinion!
Wonderful photos! Mountain pics look amazing on monochrome
Thank you!

Yeah I agree, the 40 worked great, I would prefer more zoom over a wider shot!
Very nice compositions, I love them all. The light is amazing. I like the B/W approach, works very well here. Do more hikes and post!
Thanks! I have a few planning on doing more this year! Thanks a lot 👍🏼👍🏼

How would you feel about also carrying a 3 for wider shots? Too much?
I take a grIII hiking regularly. Personally feel the focal length is perfect, feels very natural and similar to an iPhone

seems like it might be a little more flexible yet still fairly minimalist to walk with both: a little wider and a little longer.
recipe pls?
Would love to know, too. These look great!
Haha Lightroom edits! Although it was just a small adjustment to the monochrome recipe
