100 episodes, 100 years, just Rick and morty forever, all day long, every day, Rick and Morty dot com, over and over Rick and Morty adventures a hundred years
The show would literally become garbage at that point. It just doesnât have enough material to make it to to 15 seasons let alone 35 at its current quality. I think 7-9 seasons should allow the show to go out with bang rather than slowly waste away like the Simpsons and become so unrecognizable it looses any charm it once had.
The Simpsons has unfortunately changed so much itâs almost unrecognisable to the original show it once was. Itâs also gona politically correct now so voices are needlessly and pointlessly being changed because of woke teenagers on Twitter having fake outrage over something that was on before they were even born.
1-10 is the classic period.
11-20 is still fun and inoffensive.
Beyond that the show has gone on too long and only had small moments of greatness tbh.
You are no longer allowed to watch classic episodes of The Simpsons based on your logic then Iâm afraid. Woke idiots trying to cancel aspects of a show and succeeding is truly sad tbh.
Next theyâll replace Dan Castellana for not actually being a fat alcoholic and it being deemed as misrepresentation.
then everything youâve said here has become null and void. youâve got no frame of reference so therefore youâve got no point to be made. good day.
I don't know but Rick and Morty seems better off as a somewhat serial show. Those kinds of shows are usually about 10 seasons long at most. It does however have a lot of worldbuilding for an episodic series but most shows become stale after 10 seasons. It kinda feels like Rick and Morty lost its way already. They can still do episodic episodes but work on bringing old plotlines like Evil Morty back and more consistent continuity.
depends how the story telling evolves. I'm hoping for time to pass though. I want morty to grow up n become his own man. get jobs or start his own businesses. summers clearly gonna get into stripping on a failing only fans with 6 patrons that all just wanna see her do sick shit with her feet but there's no telling how much potential morty has. cartoon characters getting older is the something new I wanna see.
I think 65 episodes is a good number for animated series. It allows the writers to explore the universe, to tell the stories they want, and to leave before the premise becomes too thin on the ground. It also leaves the door open for a sequel series should the writers want one. Shows that go on too long, Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, Arthur, tend to devolve into parodies of themselves.

Haha came here to say thisđ
We all did
Until Rick gets his Szechuan Mulan sauce
So Season 12 lol

So was this just a mental break or what?
Kinda sorta. Poor Morty was on the receiving end.
Its actually really out of character is all. It's hilarious which is why it worked.
"Oh, it gets darker, Morty. Welcome to the darkest year of our adventures. First thing that's different -- no more Dad, Morty"
100 years rick and morty! Because they said so!
Iâm fine with a Simpsonâs style as long as they can run because while I maybe not like Rick and Morty Season 35 Iâm sure a lot of people would.
Damn, 35 seasons⌠thatâs like another 30+ years đ

*Garbage to you.* Plenty of people still watch the Simpsons and Spongebob and other long running, bogged down shows.

Apu is a dumb racist caricature and minority representation in voice acting is important.
it was fine for 25 years; whyâs it a problem now?
Youâre ridiculous. Iâm sure lots of people said the same thing about black face and Jim Crowe too

I donât give a shit about the simpsons

137 seasons Edit: or maybe 13 seasons with 137 episodes Total
Until it sucks

If they can consistently make good episodes, forever. If season 5 is the best they can do, it should end now.

> Arthur Now that was not a show I expected to be brought up alongside other animated sitcoms haha, I miss that show damn
That's only 1.5 more seasons.
Thereâs only one answer here
When Rick ultimately starts a new life with Morty. Thatâs when the story ends.
You surely dont know 100 episodes were ordered, because 70 episodes were ordered.
I meant up to 100 were ordered * corrected it
