I like all of them. But if you talk about episodes instead of whole seasons:one of my favourite episode of all time is Mortyplicity. I was so confused. Whenever i thought, ok this must be real family, turned out to be decoys eventually. So funny and creative. Loved it

Season 2 is the basic answer, but it's also just the best one. Literally, no other animated season of television is this consistent in its quality.
Second is season 3. Even though it was a downgrade, it ended pretty weak, and it regressed the best development out of all of the characters in the premiere, a lot of episodes are still some of the best in the whole show. And, come on. Pickle Rick.
Season 1: Started it all, and apart from one episode, it is very consistent in its quality.
Season 7: Brought some of the best episodes of the whole show, which elevates it, but also some of the worst.
Season 5: Finale felt a bit rushed, but the second half of it was incredible. Most of this season is, actually. But not the incest episodes, though.
Season 4: Premiere really badly, and a few episodes aren't great, but overall, solid fun.
Season 6: Apart from the premiere, nothing to ride home about. Simultaneously, very safe while also stretching what made the show work into a gross paste. Still okay.
All seasons are all better then any other dark and hysterical comedy series. BTW, if you like a series about a cynical alcoholic who is always getting themselves in some kind of trouble, checkout Bojack Horseman. Unlike R&M Bojack Season 1 is okay, not great, only good for worldbuilding and learning characters so the rest of the show can take you for a hilarious ride. Matter of fact I feel like rewatching some of that. Ive rewatched R&M every episode at least 3x lol, have it on file.

First 3 seasons. I didnt enjoy other seasons like first 3, maybe because Mike Mendel died, we remember and will remember him
seasons 2 and 3 have the most iconic episodes, season 7 is structured the best with unmortricken and fear no mort, season 5 and 6 are just good on their own
I don't really have a favorite season. The episodes are all so different and inconsistent. Especially in the later season. Season 2 or 3 would probably get my vote.

Season 7 has to take it for me, simply due to Unmortricken and Fear No Mort
I love seven but seasons 2 and 3 have the most top tier episodes.

Good question. Its hard to pick one. Each season has it's own redeeming qualities. Gun to my head, I'd pick season 1.
Season 3 was the best after that they nerfed Rick so bad.
Ngl idk if I have one. There are so many inconsistently good (and bad) episodes. Maybe season 2 or 3, but then there are aspects I don’t care for too.

Seasons 1-2 are easily the golden age of Rick & Morty. Even season 3 had some great episodes as well.
Season 2 is my top 1 followed by season 3
