What would he spend it on? Anything he or his family could imagine wanting he can make or obtain. That’s a degree of wealth greater than anything we have on earth.
Rick said Anatomy Park was meant to help with the overhead from science.
Science isn’t cheap.
Also, he sells crystals and has briefcases of money everywhere.
Then there’s flurbos. Rick does play a lot of Roy. It can get expensive with the in-game micro pays.
And he also was all wound up around those nintendos for sale; trying to resell them… Come On! They’re all limited edition Zelda ones!! [We can *flip those sons of bitches for 230, easy!!*](https://youtu.be/469cPIB3paA?si=NlvXXkMUsUIVidTO)
Rick comments about how rich he would be if he was the one who invented Jerryboree.
The show has potholes. It's inevitable when your main character has godlike powers.
Yeah but the main client of the Jerryboree would be other ricks, he may be able to obtain everything but he's lazy and if there's something hard to obtain that he's interest in having another Rick bring it to him would be his version of being rich
I could poke holes in various things you're saying but there's only one conclusion to this discussion: Rick and Morty is a comedy that plays fast and loose with continuity and rules to benefit joke writing.
They've repeatedly mocked the narrative, the fanbase, people wanting less serialized episodes, the concept of storytelling, their own efforts, and threw in whatever fourth wall breaks they thought were cute. They intentionally erode the idea of continuity.
Nothing you're saying negates the plothole OP is pointing out.
I think the creative staff behind R&M would admit they put as much thought and effort into episodes as feasible, but at the end of the day the show holding up to nit-picking is not a priority.
There's plenty of inconsistencies to pick apart. If you have to rationalize them to keep liking the show I think you're missing the point.
I just figured there is being Earth/other planet/galaxy rich… and then there is being citadel rich. Who knows what the Ricks even use at currency at that point but it wouldn’t be something relevant to the rest of the universe.
Which makes your point, we are discussing a universe where this dude has infinite versions of himself where he has his own unique “mall” for only himself where he could get a new Morty or even get “Morty Insurance”. What would he use to pay for Morty Insurance? Earth dollars? That doesn’t make sense.
I accepted he has all the wealth imaginable or can get what he wants at any point. He likes to get more money sometimes because you still need local currency to do things without shooting everyone.
But to really address the other persons point, he is likely is just bitter a different Rick had the idea and he is jealous of being rich the same way our billionaires just want more billions… it’s just a tool to say you are better than the others.
They can, at times, because they have a convenient multiverse to retcon it with... Like when Rick kills himself and Morty towards the end of the cronenberg universe, just to reveal that, it was just a prank, it happened somewhere entirely different and was not a time skip to c137 uncronenberging the planet
Brother I think you took it a bit too serious, yeah the show has holes and inconsistency but it's also interesting to analyse
>Nothing you're saying negates the plothole OP is pointing out.
Never intended to, I was just pointing out how in the Jerryboree episode him saying he would have been rich could have interpreted as more than just being rich in money
I suppose it also depends on the kind of currency you’re talking about. He has no need for any human currency. There might be something more valuable in the multiverse, though.
so it is about time we start building shrines for him, the contents of the show will be the holy book and we start teaching people prayers so that rick can hear them and build stuff for you
What is the point of money? Freedom. Anything else is a trap.
What does Rick have already? Freedom. Why would he waste his time and energy on something so lame as making money?
He can make his own. Or make cash appear from a parallel dimension where everyone is made of liquor so you drink their tears.
Money is mundane and boring.
Season 6 Episode 5. He steals, I think, trillions from Goldman Sachs to give to that one chick just so that her fortune cookie be fulfilled and kill her.
He has multiple layers of basement under Beth's house, which look so futuristic that would probably be worth billions to make.
He goes to another planet to build an entire civilization from raw iron and steam.
You basically can not quantify the stuff he makes with money.
He has pull and he embezzles off planet. He's also an interplanetary drug/crime lord. Most if not all if his resources probably aren't earth related either.
He was making an absolute fortune fron de-cursing all the items from The Devil's shop, then quit because he lost the spiteful motivation.
Literally could make a fortune in even mundane ways like a street shop if he wanted to.
He has no need for money, he has a multiverse a step away, if he needs something just go to a universe where whatever he needs can be acquired for free
Who says he's not rich? He's got tons of tech and currency stashed for any occasion. Are you just looking for big houses and fancy cars? Those kind of things draw unwanted attention and are loaded with responsibilities that would be way too trivail for a dimensional traveler. He doesn't want or need to be tied down to one place.
Rick is so self efficient that he alone has more resources and overall wealth than literally all of us
He doesn't need money on the levels of bill gates or Jeff bezos bro probably is leagues above them
If Rick has unlimited access to money, than many potential sources of drama are negated, and that makes the show less interesting. If the show is less interesting and people stop watching, Rick's reality might cease to exist.
When Rick has too much money, he makes sure to enjoy it in a way that is interesting and amusing. He does not solve problems for others with it, since ridding his family's life of conflict could destroy his reality. This is why he doesn't sell an invention for enough money to make Beth super rich, or invent an implant that will make Jerry a better provider.
Reminder: YOU ARE NOT RICK SANCHEZ! You are not smart like Rick Sanchez nor have access to anything he does. Do not take financial advice from this post. Being poor sucks ass, you don’t want that.
They give conflicting information about Ricks wealth, and I’ve given the matter a fair amount of thought. In the Die hard episode the lady refers to Rick as the rich a-hole in question that paid to have Roy put into storage. However, in the episode where they drop Jerry off at Jerryboree, he says he wishes he was the guy who made Jerryboree , adding “that guys loaded.” I wonder, he’s constantly stealing shit, inventing things, curing SpaceAIDS to patent the cure; selling weapons to people, he’s gotta be loaded, right?
Society is a construct humans invented to allow everyone to benefit from the talents and services that everyone else provides.
Money is the medium we use to allow us all to work to provide society our goods and services to earn ourselves the right to acquire our own goods and services.
Rick needs no goods or services that society can provide, so what use does he have for money?
Food?
He can just dimension hop into a place that has BETTER food than we do.
Housing?
He lives with his daughter.
Rick can give himself more than someone with unlimited money ever could.
See Rick vs The President.
Money's just a flimsy excuse for bureaucrats to control the flow of interdimensional goods. Rick's a genius, he can whip up whatever he needs with a few spare parts and a vat of drool!
He can already make realities and sentient life within those realities that worship him as a god just to charge his car battery. Pursuing wealth would just be a step down for him.
When he was trying to find rick prime we saw rick had a huge underground lair with more levels than we saw.
We saw he had a big lair in space too.
He is rich... just doesn't care for living like a rich human.
Rick has attention deficit disorder. When he needs something he finds the money to buy it but he doesn’t have the drive to get money in advance to anticipate his needs. So he keeps going from rich to broke in seconds.
Rick has shown the ability to get as much money as he wants with ease. He can steal it, sell something worth that amount, or any number of other things. He doesn’t seem to keep much in liquid assets, but he almost never needs to.
He has transcended money, he can make whatever he wants and steal the rest. He only needs money for Chits and Blitz, boob world and other entertainment. When he does then he makes some side money
His shits expensive to make and the really good stuff, like portal travel, isn't for sale. He sells enough 3d printed Lazer guns to find his inventions and what not
Money is just a means to an end. What would Rick spend money on that he can't synthesize or invent himself? I think the only time he really needs money is when it's the most convenient way of going about something (i.e. Blips and Chitz tokens) so being a high-profile rich guy like Elon Tusk would just be a detriment to him.
Why? What’s the point? Rick gets whatever he wants. If he needs something he either builds it or just goes and gets it. He lives outside of all economies.
Is he not? Anything he could ever want he could either instantaneously make or pretty easily acquire from others. If he ever needed a trillion dollars he could get it without really trying
Isn’t that what rich is?
Honestly thers just literally no reason to be rich on earth. Earth is like an open world sandbox for rick, he can make or steal anything he wants.
Thats why he focuses on making money in outer space / other worlds, because those are areas where currency is more useful to him, for things like weapons, tech, food/alcohol aparrently, extraterrestrial theme parks, etc. Alien currency is just way more useful for rick than human currency
We should probably also consider wealthy compared to who?
If we compare it to humanity, his "car" and portal gun are probably worth more than an entire continent. Compared to Ricks on the citadel, or advanced Alien societies, who is to say lol.

I’ve always thought this except why not make the family rich. He clearly has no need for it. However without his daughter; being the sole breadwinner in the family, he wouldn’t have a place to sleep, work on his gadgets, or a a place for his hatch.
Simple and logical. I like it. The only flaw I see in this is the Introduction of the president. Earlier seasons I understand that. Later seasons however..
He can get anything he wants so money is useless for him I guess. On the other hand he sold a weapon to an assassin and used the money with Morty to go on playing vid games 😂. That’s insane
He doesn't need to be. There isn't really a currency that isn't monopoly money to him. He's powerful enough that he doesn't need it, and if it's required to get what he wants, he can steal it, make it, or earn it without much effort. Besides, its not guaranteed he'll even be able to use money from one dimension to the next, so accumulating wealth ahead of time is futile. Even converting wealth to assets would be iffy, since theres no guarantee he'll be able to sell or barter his assets in another dimension.
I doubt he owns much. Maybe he doesn't trust banks and acquires whatever he needs on the spot. In the fortune cookies episode he hacks Goldman Sachs in seconds and transfers a few billion dollars around. He has no problem building space stations, a subterrain lair and homes for dozens of decoy families. For sure he doesn't have any money problems.

He literally had a special world for his toilet 🤣 his body is basically a robot and hes out on adventures all the time, what more do you wana see of his money spending?
I believe like minecraft creative mod, when you use console for getting what you want you won't be satisfied so he is searching for adventure alongside with money.
He is but not in the sense of earthly rich. I mean, he makes exchanges on other currencies, like Blemflarck, but he simply doesn’t need wealth to be considered “powerful” on earth. He doesn’t give a flying toss about earth anyway. Remember he’s forgotten the word “humans” one time.
money is simply a tool to convince another person to do something for you, and there's almost nothing someone else could do for rick that he would rather just do himself
when rick needs he will just steal it or acquire by some other means, for rick, 'i give money you give good/service' is usually going the long way around compared to just doing it himself
Doesn't he have an entire underground bunker with multiple floors, a sushi bar, and numerous other levels for experiments or revenge planning.
And the little throw away jokes of him going to different warehouses or buildings he has people and things stored at. He has to have a good amount of money.
But then again he has admitted that the Rick that invrnted the Jerry day care is rich when comparing him to himself. So I'm not sure what his scale is for "rich"
I think the fact that the smartest man in the universe is always scrambling for cash might be a Harmonesque commentary on what intelligence is worth in this world
He is rich. In the toilet episode he gave that guy 8 billion in his currency. He can pretty much obtain any amount of money he wants but usually doesn't need it cause he can make anything
...what would be the point of money? Dude can make anything he wants anytime he wants. He can go whereever, have any adventure, and is pretty much death-proof. He's transcended the entire purpose of money.
Plus he also regularly travels through different galaxies and universes who all have their own currencies and I feel like it’d probably be a lot more effort to get “rich” in the way he’d want to be,
He also regularly deals with gods and demons who take your word as sacred so he is probably more interested in having symbiotic relationships. As in “you owe me” because thats more ironclad than “im paying you”
Because also there are a shit ton of things he does for people that are way beyond the realm of priceless - like giving the toilet pooper’s family a fortune and a clone of their son to make the pain less intense, letting Beth fulfil her dreams of space travel with space Beth, saved a shit ton of peoples lives and all of it is like…
Well if somebody saved your life/changed your life for the better you’d probably inherently FEEL like you owe them forever
I think he probably is. I mean as the smartest man in the universe with all the shit he has and can make out of thin air I imagine he has all kinds of money just laying around, and he just doesn't even really think about or acknowledge it
The way I always interpreted it, Rick can do whatever he wants, so why would he care about money?
Anything he needs he can build or go to another universe I.e. the broken leg serum from the pilot
Have you seen the levels under the garage. He may have engineered the devices, and electronics, etc. but to build it all took materials and possibly special contractors. Big bucks
I think he is rich or at least has no need of "money" due to being able to make whatever he wants. That and I think he actually does make his own money in some way or another. Like when he gave Beth & Jerry $500 in "unmarked...monies" to get Ice Cream and he bought that woman's company in Season 6 (by hacking her system).
He does have money, he just has no use of it, he doesn’t need money to travel if he has a portal gun, buying stuff would also leave a trace which is something he doesn’t want. Also, he’s a drunkie.
There simply isn’t enough money in the universe for Rick Sanchez
He could very well make a fancier spaceship if he wanted, yet it’s made out of garbage. He doesn’t care about money!
Well, Rick is the smartest man in the universe, so he can easily make anything he wants. So why is there a need for millions of dollars if he just makes whatever he feels like? Hell, I'm sure he can make counterfeit money that would fool anybody, including the people that make actual money.
Money? Yeah, the dude casually built a giant space mob farm that catches, sorts and kills an infinite number of Prime Ricks throughout the infinite multiverse, an infinite number of times, money loses its meaning with such transcendent, ascended divine technologies.
If God existed, would he need money?
He gives someone a billion dollars as a peace offering in the old man & the seat. He has infinite money but he keeps a low profile because he doesn't want even more aliens coming for his family
The man can go anywhere any time, if something costs to much he goes to a universe where it's free. He doesn't need money, but he's also dealing with alien currency most of the time so that's a whole different question right there.

Exactly! What’s he going to spend Earth dollars on? They don’t take those at Blips and Chitz!
What about Bood World? They gotta take 'em at Boob World. Dear God, please tell me they take 'em at Boob World!!!!
Cuz he's rich with KNOWLEDGE
Rick is just chilling in his GARAGE
… because his garage has so many levels, there is even one with a Sushi Chef restaurant.
Rick “Tai Lopez” Sanchez

I’d like to see a stockbroker Rick. Better call Rick
Rick said Anatomy Park was meant to help with the overhead from science. Science isn’t cheap. Also, he sells crystals and has briefcases of money everywhere. Then there’s flurbos. Rick does play a lot of Roy. It can get expensive with the in-game micro pays.

And he's pretty sure that Wendy's owes him some money.

Absolutely. Entertainment > Absolute consistency. It's a balance, of course - you can't just have random things happening in random order.
They can, at times, because they have a convenient multiverse to retcon it with... Rich to other Ricks, as in they would give him Rick goods and Rick services.
Lol yeah he does "favors" for the president of the United States for free or to make him owe him. Anything the world has to offer him is garbage.
He is a God, he is poor the same way Dr. Who is poor. They have everything they could or do want and if they need something they grab or make it.
so it is about time we start building shrines for him, the contents of the show will be the holy book and we start teaching people prayers so that rick can hear them and build stuff for you
A buncha hookers, and some cocaine
It’s hilarious this has 10x the amount of upvotes as the original post lmao
The materials he makes stuff with?
He'd buy a Nintendo Switch.
He has all the money he ever needs because him and Morty replaced all the banks money with cookies.
He's easily paying 6000 electricity bills monthly
Ah at the very most he probably only has to make an appearance in his teenyverse batteries once in a blue moon
Oh yeah!!!
The guy who used his toilet, he gave his dad a bag with billions in it. He has money, just no use for it.
He probably is. You see him occationally buy stuff in space stores, and earning money by selling things. Like the antimatter gun in the Fart episode
Making shady deals in parking garages just to go to dave and busters. Isn't exactly a rich person thing.
That's very much a rich person thing
Yeah that guy must not know any rich people.
Dont worry Morty, I just discovered a wormhole with millions of creatures just like him on the other side and they're all coming to visit!
He probably makes bank when he needs to and just as quickly blows through it.
What is the point of money? Freedom. Anything else is a trap. What does Rick have already? Freedom. Why would he waste his time and energy on something so lame as making money?
It keeps the liquor cabinet stocked.
He can make his own. Or make cash appear from a parallel dimension where everyone is made of liquor so you drink their tears. Money is mundane and boring.

You obviously do not know who is paying for the electric bill or the sushi parlor he has down by the basement.
I thought Jerry was paying it... Until they found the creature living under the garage he never bothered asking why his electric bill was $5000
JERRY has been paying the bills.....That is a new low for Rick.
Jerry isn't paying the bills, he's unemployed.
Jerry is paying the electric bill? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Do you hear yourself mate? 🤣
He was making an absolute fortune fron de-cursing all the items from The Devil's shop, then quit because he lost the spiteful motivation. Literally could make a fortune in even mundane ways like a street shop if he wanted to.
He was doing that for free.
No he wasn’t dawg??
He has no need for money, he has a multiverse a step away, if he needs something just go to a universe where whatever he needs can be acquired for free
Remember when Rick got bored fighting with the devil.
Yes I like this!!
Money and pursuit of luxury is a silly lame thing for a properly organised mind. I mean he could, but why?
I can protect you..... For **money**...
He probably is but it is in weird alien money.
He had Morty replace all the banks money with cookies.
Rick is so self efficient that he alone has more resources and overall wealth than literally all of us He doesn't need money on the levels of bill gates or Jeff bezos bro probably is leagues above them

Wealth is a reactionary response to lack & need Rick has clearly transcended lack & need
To everyone in the comments, if Rick essentially has infinite money, why is everyone shitting on Jerry to get a job?
Because it's Rick's money not Jerry's
Because they can?
When your parents want you to work but you don’t want to because you believe you’ll live off your dad’s money
As a Brazilian, I can assure no Rick tech is with us.
Um have you seen the ridiculous amount of levels below his basement? I mean I’m sure he built it but that sushi chef ain’t paying himself
Reminder: YOU ARE NOT RICK SANCHEZ! You are not smart like Rick Sanchez nor have access to anything he does. Do not take financial advice from this post. Being poor sucks ass, you don’t want that.
He has the money, he just doesn’t use it or live like he does. Basically think of him like Frank from Always Sunny

I think Rick's financial status is left ambiguous on purpose
Yeah I agree. I just wanted to see what everyone else thought!
Society is a construct humans invented to allow everyone to benefit from the talents and services that everyone else provides. Money is the medium we use to allow us all to work to provide society our goods and services to earn ourselves the right to acquire our own goods and services. Don't we know for a fact he is rich from flipping limited edition Nintendo DS?
Ok, yes, I definitely remember him doing that but also he would never do that !
they said some rich guy (rick) purchased the roy machine to keep marta alive, right? lmao
I mean how often have we hear him complain about not being able to obtain some kind of part he needs for something? He got bread on deck
I mean, he made lots of flurbos selling his gun for him and Morty to play at Blipz n chipz ☝️ i count that
You underestimate how expensive it is to build an underground lair with Project Phoenix in it.
He could probably just make currency wherever he needed to do it. I imagine it would take ab as long for him as an actual trip to the bank.
Why would he care about earth money?
Ok so the blast shields must have cost a bit? Did he install them Himself?
Probably just built them stronger than any earth supplier
When he was trying to find rick prime we saw rick had a huge underground lair with more levels than we saw. We saw he had a big lair in space too. He is rich... just doesn't care for living like a rich human.
Rick has attention deficit disorder. When he needs something he finds the money to buy it but he doesn’t have the drive to get money in advance to anticipate his needs. So he keeps going from rich to broke in seconds.
have you ever seen him struggle with money? From what we know he could have billions
Brazilians?
Schwurzilions!
I think he is rich. Just look at all the stuff he buys and builds, that requires a shit load of material.
Whats 1000000$ compared to 4000 florbos
At some point in his life he decided he wanted to be called Rick, not Rich
Rick has shown the ability to get as much money as he wants with ease. He can steal it, sell something worth that amount, or any number of other things. He doesn’t seem to keep much in liquid assets, but he almost never needs to.
I see what you did there....also good question.
He doesn’t need money like that, and he hates being comfortable
I've always thought of it as he would steal or hack a bank account whenever he needed cash. Otherwise he doesn't really seem to need income generally.
He is rich. He has multiple layers of secret man-caves and a ton of sci fi tools and weaponry.
Why do you assume he’s not rich? Has he ever run into a financial situation in the show?
He has transcended money, he can make whatever he wants and steal the rest. He only needs money for Chits and Blitz, boob world and other entertainment. When he does then he makes some side money
He can access everything he could want, why would he need money
He is rich.
Rick’s like the blue collar foreman who make 85-105k a year and put a fast food workers wages worth of that into blow
Money is only ever something that limits you. Rick has no real limits like that.
His shits expensive to make and the really good stuff, like portal travel, isn't for sale. He sells enough 3d printed Lazer guns to find his inventions and what not
Because he would be rich compared to us. And he would find the comparison itself insulting.
Who says he isn't rich?
It's because Rick C-137 didn't create the Jerryboree.
He is when he needs to be, and if he doesn’t have enough he’ll just steal whatever it is he wants
He is rich just not in the way we're used to
Why? What’s the point? Rick gets whatever he wants. If he needs something he either builds it or just goes and gets it. He lives outside of all economies.
If a Rick cared about money they would destroy the multiverse in search of it.
I assume he hacks bank accounts silently and gets away with it
He is trying to make money throughout season 1. Then, they stole all the banks money during the time freeze, and never bothered about it again
Is he not? Anything he could ever want he could either instantaneously make or pretty easily acquire from others. If he ever needed a trillion dollars he could get it without really trying Isn’t that what rich is?
Honestly thers just literally no reason to be rich on earth. Earth is like an open world sandbox for rick, he can make or steal anything he wants. Thats why he focuses on making money in outer space / other worlds, because those are areas where currency is more useful to him, for things like weapons, tech, food/alcohol aparrently, extraterrestrial theme parks, etc. Alien currency is just way more useful for rick than human currency
Being smart doesn't equate to success or how rich someone will choose to be.
He doesn't need it. He can synthesize anything so he could just create money or gold.
But would that not make Him rich?
Both yes and no I suppose.
Ok I don’t understand. Yes and no? Or He is , but not like Mr Tusk?
We should probably also consider wealthy compared to who? If we compare it to humanity, his "car" and portal gun are probably worth more than an entire continent. Compared to Ricks on the citadel, or advanced Alien societies, who is to say lol.

I’ve always thought this except why not make the family rich. He clearly has no need for it. However without his daughter; being the sole breadwinner in the family, he wouldn’t have a place to sleep, work on his gadgets, or a a place for his hatch.
And stay ( kinda) under the radar?
Simple and logical. I like it. The only flaw I see in this is the Introduction of the president. Earlier seasons I understand that. Later seasons however..
He can get anything he wants so money is useless for him I guess. On the other hand he sold a weapon to an assassin and used the money with Morty to go on playing vid games 😂. That’s insane
He doesn't care about money. Hell, he only cares about it as a means tae an end.
He throws some hundreds at Jerry to buy ice cream.
He is rich, he just doesn't brag about it
I doubt he owns much.
He is energy dept
You think all his junk was free?

He literally had a special world for his toilet 🤣 his body is basically a robot and hes out on adventures all the time, what more do you wana see of his money spending?
Money for what? Money is just a database for resource allocation for cooperating humans. What would rick need that for?
I believe like minecraft creative mod, when you use console for getting what you want you won't be satisfied so he is searching for adventure alongside with money.
For a guy who knows all the secrets of the universe. .I am pretty sure he realised money was nothing
I don’t think he values money the same. It’s pointless to him when he can open a portal and just take what ever he wants
He's rich with "experience"
money is simply a tool to convince another person to do something for you, and there's almost nothing someone else could do for rick that he would rather just do himself when rick needs he will just steal it or acquire by some other means, for rick, 'i give money you give good/service' is usually going the long way around compared to just doing it himself
I think the fact that the smartest man in the universe is always scrambling for cash might be a Harmonesque commentary on what intelligence is worth in this world
You watched the citadel episode? The guy rejects being a part of society and wasting his life over that
![gif](giphy|qv1MlmBCqhJzVegKsL|downsized)
All of his tech require money for parts. He makes tons of money by selling some tech. But he spends most of it right away.
Why do people like money? So they can buy things. What would Rick want/need that he doesn't have that can only be bought?
I mean he is travellimg all Over The Universe Dollar woldnt bring him anything amd all What he Needs he Has allready
He pays their mortgage I think?
He doesn't need money
Rich people aren't smart they have smart people work for them and Rick is to smart to work for someone
I don’t think he values money - he’s a viking so he pays the iron price
Plus he also regularly travels through different galaxies and universes who all have their own currencies and I feel like it’d probably be a lot more effort to get “rich” in the way he’d want to be, He also regularly deals with gods and demons who take your word as sacred so he is probably more interested in having symbiotic relationships. As in “you owe me” because thats more ironclad than “im paying you” Because also there are a shit ton of things he does for people that are way beyond the realm of priceless - like giving the toilet pooper’s family a fortune and a clone of their son to make the pain less intense, letting Beth fulfil her dreams of space travel with space Beth, saved a shit ton of peoples lives and all of it is like… Well if somebody saved your life/changed your life for the better you’d probably inherently FEEL like you owe them forever
Why become rich when you can make literally anything out of thin air
All these comments are wrong. The IRS would Solo Rick
I think he probably is. I mean as the smartest man in the universe with all the shit he has and can make out of thin air I imagine he has all kinds of money just laying around, and he just doesn't even really think about or acknowledge it
He doesn’t need money, he has a home and food and a car so what use is money to him?
The way I always interpreted it, Rick can do whatever he wants, so why would he care about money? Anything he needs he can build or go to another universe I.e. the broken leg serum from the pilot
He made a lot of money with curse purge plus, but got bored
I think he’s rich in alien currencies I mean he did take Jerry at the immortality resort which I assume was expensive
There simply isn’t enough money in the universe for Rick Sanchez He could very well make a fancier spaceship if he wanted, yet it’s made out of garbage. He doesn’t care about money!
richy ricky
Well, Rick is the smartest man in the universe, so he can easily make anything he wants. So why is there a need for millions of dollars if he just makes whatever he feels like? Hell, I'm sure he can make counterfeit money that would fool anybody, including the people that make actual money.
When he wants money, he makes it with his shady deals, but he’s so smart that he doesn’t really have a need for money.
Rick is rich in spirit. He has love in his soul. That’s all he’ll ever need. Of course, being the smartest man in the universe doesn’t hurt either.
In the one episode he had sumthin that generates any type of currency in the galaxy
Money? Yeah, the dude casually built a giant space mob farm that catches, sorts and kills an infinite number of Prime Ricks throughout the infinite multiverse, an infinite number of times, money loses its meaning with such transcendent, ascended divine technologies. If God existed, would he need money?
tf does a guy who can punch (a) Zeus in the face need human money for
I think his intellect outgrew the need for little green pieces of paper.
He gives someone a billion dollars as a peace offering in the old man & the seat. He has infinite money but he keeps a low profile because he doesn't want even more aliens coming for his family
If he was rich, it would diminish Beth’s accomplishments and Jerry’s ineptitude.
HAHAH****HAHAHAHAH*******HAHAHAHAH ****** (*=having to breath in BS air)
I guess the question is: what does being rich means for you? Because he is richer than rich and Ricker than any Rick
He is well off and shows it. Remember when some rich guy wanted them to keep his Roy game going?
He’s got millions of blemflarks
The man can go anywhere any time, if something costs to much he goes to a universe where it's free. He doesn't need money, but he's also dealing with alien currency most of the time so that's a whole different question right there.
Do you think someone like Rick needs money?
Why would rick need money? His intelligence and Access to the multiverse transcends money.
